3 Health Assessment and Toxicology (HAT) State Mandate: Responsible for taking the lead in assessing the potential adverse health effects that exposure to toxic substances or harmful physical agents may have on people Health and Safety Code, Title 6, Chapter : Health Risk Assessments Title 2, Subtitle H, Chapter , subchapter C: Epidemiology or Toxicology Investigations
4 Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry ATSDR entered into a Cooperative Agreement with DSHS to assess the presence and nature of health hazards at Superfund sites.
