1 Enrolling Your Providence Bank Online Accounts for Notify Me Alerts Login to your online banking account by entering your Access ID and Password at providencebank.com.

2 Once logged in to your online banking account, click on the Notify Me Alerts at the top of the page. o Next, click on Update Addresses/Mobile Number to enter your primary and secondary addresses and your mobile number for text alerts.

3 Enter your Primary address, Secondary address, and Mobile phone number. o You will receive a confirmation to both addresses and a text message to your mobile phone with a text alert registration code. You will also be prompted to enroll your mobile number for receiving text alerts on the next screen.

4 Enter the registration code you received in your text message, accept the Terms and Conditions, and then click submit. o After clicking submit, you will be redirected to the Notify Me Alerts main page where you can begin setting the alerts.

5 We highly recommend setting the Transaction >$ alert. Set others as you see fit. Account Activity Alert Description Account Overdrawn: You can receive a notification when the account balance is below $0.00. Account Balance: You can receive a notification at a customizable interval that reports the current account Ledger balance. You can choose to receive updates on the account balance daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly. Balance > $: You can receive a notification when the account s balance is over a preset dollar amount. For example, you could choose to be notified when a balance amount goes over $ Balance < $: You can receive a notification when the account s balance is below a preset dollar amount. For example, you could choose to be notified when the balance amount goes below $ Check #(s) Cleared: You can receive a notification when a single check or a range of checks clears the account. Deposits > $: You can receive a notification when a deposit is made to the account for or over a preset dollar amount. For example, you can choose to be notified when any deposit of $50.00 or larger is made to the account. Transactions > $: You can receive a notification when any transaction above a predetermined amount is posted to an account. For example, you can choose to be notified when any transaction of $25.00 or more is posted to your account. *Providence Bank recommends setting the Transactions >$ alert on your account. Feel free to set other alerts as you see fit.

6 We recommend setting the Any new message is sent to my online inbox alert. Messaging Alert Description New Message-Inbox: You will receive a notification when any type of message is sent to your Inbox on the Messages tab. By default, this alert is set to send notifications to your primary address on file. You can turn off this notification but choose to receive specific alerts on any of the other messaging alerts described below. Transaction-related: You will receive a notification when the system sends you an important message about a transaction or service. New Online Privilege: You will receive a notification when you are granted a new service privilege (e.g., Billpay Added or Transfers Added ). Broadcast Message You will receive a notification when Providence Bank sends a broadcast message to all of our customers. For example, if we send a message about fraud alerts, you will receive a notification that the broadcast message is available on the Messages tab. Personal Message You will receive a notification when Providence Bank sends you a personal message on the Messages tab. For example, if you sent a message to us about a deposit, you will receive a notification when we respond to the original message. *Providence Bank recommends setting the Any new message is sent to my online inbox alert so you will receive a notification when any type of message is sent to your Inbox on the Messages tab.

Security Alerts Personal Accounts Security alerts will notify you of events that can have potentially serious impact on your accounts or your online access. Security alerts are sent on a real time basis, as soon as events occur. The following security alert notifications are available: Security Alert Description Security-related change is made: You will receive a notification when a change related to account access has occurred, such as modification of Access ID, passcode, Security Question/Answer, address or mobile phone number. Online transfer is processed: You will receive a notification when an online internal transfer has completed processing. Login is successful: You will receive a notification when a successful login occurs to your Internet banking account. *Providence Bank highly recommends all security alerts to notify you in both and text message.

Security alerts are sent on a real time basis, as soon as events occur. ACH batch is approved: You will receive a notification when an ACH batch has been successfully approved for processing. Sub-User is added: You will receive notification when a sub-user has been added. Sub-User IP address restriction is changed: You will receive notification when an IP address restriction set for a sub-user has been changed from the IP address restriction inherited from the primary customer. * Providence Bank highly recommends all security alerts to notify you in both and text message.
