The study examines Ontario school district policies on child abuse using a comprehensive document analysis in conjunction with interviews with teachers. Designed the study, submitted ethical protocol for review, collected data (64 school board policies; 7 interviews), transcribed and coded interviews using NVivo, conducted data analysis. Position: Project Manager Date: January Current Principal Investigator: Responsibilities: Increasing capacity to Mobilize and apply research knowledge in the Ontario education system Dr. Amanda Cooper This study focuses on improving system capacity to mobilize and apply research knowledge in the Ontario education sector with the goal of embedding KMb processes at organizational levels. Ultimately, this project will provide a suite of KMb tools and resources to help educators apply research knowledge to improve student outcomes. I am assisting Dr. Cooper in coordinating multi-stakeholder panels to create and disseminate evidence-based resources. I will be also help with data collection (both qualitative and quantitative) as well as data analysis using SPSS and NVivo.
