Introduction Performance of application being a key factor in user experience, has high impact on success of software product / service and strategic focus on the same is essential for successful delivery. Performance- Testing-as-a-Service is an OPEX based performance testing solution that enables performance testing to be conducted with user load simulation from either cloud or within the customer s network. It is built to evaluate the system compliance with specific performance requirements and aimed to isolate and identify system and application performance issues, bottlenecks and contention areas that block the application from scaling to meet the performance requirements. 2. Service overview This document describes Zensar s performance testing as a service. The PTaaS is conceptualized and designed by looking at the very nature of remote implementations and cloud based (geography specific or agnostic) performance testing requirements. Outcome & benefits Zensar s Performance Testing as a Service provides a simple and cost-effective solution that offers following benefits to the customers: Quicker time to market Performance SLAs fulfillment Reduced costs Commercial flexible models 6. Terms and Conditions Infastructure: Q-G23. Unit Price section does not include infrastructure cost as Infrastucture cost will depend on type of solution opted. After evaluating customers requirements and environment access conditions, Zensar will provide best suitable solution along with infrastucture details. o Following are three main infrastucture options o Customer premise load generator setup o Cloud based load generator setup o Cloud based tool Customer can opt forown infrastrucure setup or Zensar can provide the same based on agreement between two parties Performance / Load Testing: The Customer agrees to provide Zensar with at least 14 days advance written notice of its desired testing dates where it has purchased testing for an unspecified future date or where it wishes to change any testing dates which were specified at the time of purchase. 7 reserves the right to decline specific testing date requests if the services are fully booked by other customers or for maintenance. In such an infrequent event, Zensar will work with the Customer to find the next most suitable date. The Customer acknowledges that load testing services may cause tested application to fail and may cause other load associated problems. The Customer agrees that all load testing is carried out entirely at the Customer s risk. The Customer confirms that it has procured the consent of the ultimate owner of the applciation(s) to the load testing. Zensar will be carrying out the load testing in the belief that it has all appropriate consents. Save as stated in these Conditions, the Customer is liable for the effects of the load testing on itself and any third party. All load testing must be carried out within the period mutually agreed timeline stated on the SOW/ work order, effective from the date of order. Any load testing services ordered but still unused within the stated period will expire at the end of the stated period. Page 7 w w w. z e n s a r. c o m
