CRS Analytics - V Tab Setup The V tab settings are setup once for the CRS Analytics, the following values must be entered. Data Source The SQL Server instance that will be loaded from Data Specify the name of the CRS Data Database. Control Specify the name of the CRS CTL Database. Number of Job/Org Cols This value is always set at 65.

3 Months HR History Enter the number of HR months which will be loaded in the CRS Analytics model. Months Payroll History Enter the number of Payroll history months which will be loaded in the model. OCCUPATIONAL LEVEL This value should match the Occupational Level Job Column number set in the CRS application. OCCUPATIONAL CATEGORY This value should match the Occupational Level Job Column number set in the CRS application. CRS Version Automatically populated with the CRS version from which the data is extracted. vleavecodes The leave codes which will be selected for loaded for Day Analysis (usually only sick leave). vlastpayroll This is the end date of the payroll history data which will be loaded in the model. vstartdate The starting range of the payrun history loaded in the model. vaccum1-5 Enter the values of up to 5 accumulators to load in the model with history. CRS Analytics tab (CRS Application) Interfaces > Other > CRS Analytics Specify the sheets which will be loaded in the model. NB* Employee sheets visible to employees in the CRS Analytics model are determined by the securities set in CRS Analytics Tab Security.

5 CRS Analytics Tab Security (CRS Application) Interfaces > Other > CRS Analytics Tab Security Once the CRS Analytics tabs have been selected, users who will access the CRS Analytics model have to be setup with the appropriate access. Analytics Password Setup System Functions > Security > User Security Setup Users accessing the CRS Analytics model will require the analytics password to be entered on their User Security Setup in the CRS application.

6 CRS Analytics Extract (CRS Application) Interfaces > Other > CRS Analytics Extract Once the sheets have been selected and the user security for CRS Analytics has been created, the data which will be loaded in CRS Analytics model can be extracted. Create User Securities This option extracts the User Securities setup in CRS analytics Tab Security Reload Data Extracts data selected in the CRS Analytics Tab. Analytics EXE Location Specify where the Analytics executable file will be located. CRS Data Model Location Specify the data model Location to which the data will be extracted.

7 CRS Analytics Load Data CRS When launching the CRS Analytics model data is loaded from the qvw files which populates CRS Analytics. This data is extracted directly from the CRS Database. PayReloader Payreloader can be executed at regular intervals as a scheduled task. Payreloader takes payroll data up to the most recent payroll period and transfers the data to QVD files in a compressed form. If QVD files exists, data is loaded directly from the file and not from the CRS database. This results in faster loading of data. Automated Reload Data can also be loaded automatically by following the setup displayed on the Automated Reload Tab in the model. Using the Model with Separate Script File When using this model the script and model are two separate files. That means when you want to update the model you just have to replace the script file CRS.qvs that resides in the same folder as the CRS.qvw model. NB* If you want to create your own views, please create additional tabs.

8 Current Employees (Main Page) When the CRS Analytics application is launched the main page displays the Current employees which are active on the system. The circles on the map displayed in the image above shows the different regions which have been added on Org Column 2. The page also displays the totals for the different group of Age, gender and Race. How to Edit the Map Locate the file AlternateInput.xls in the Analytics folder, the location of the Regions can be edited by editing the X and Y axis. Do not change the headings on the spreadsheet.

9 Selection Criteria Selection Criteria boxes determine what values are selected for the Straight tables displayed in the Sheets of the selected tab. Example Selection Criteria The results for the selection criteria will be all data for the payperiod Straight Tables meeting selection Criteria
