FARE QUOTE H/FQ FQ (QUOTE ITINERARY AS BOOKED) Fare quote assumptions: The lowest applicable carrier coded fare for the class booked. A fare quote is required for all passengers in booking file. - All passengers are quoted as specified in the PTC in the Name Remark All segments are to be quoted (also waitlisted segments) A stopover is assumed where connections are over 24h00 (over 4h00 for NAFQ). Validates: - Advance Purchase restrictions (Res. X days before departure). - Ticketing date restrictions (Ticketing within X hours/days after reservation) Guarantee: - Fares without ticketing restriction are filed/guaranteed for 7 days. - Fares with ticketing restrictions are filed/guaranteed until the ticketing deadline. FARE QUOTE BEST BUY The Best Buy facility allows the user to obtain the lowest fare for an itinerary without considering the class booked up to a maximum of 16 active flight segments. FQBA FQBB FQBC Cheapest fare, regardless of availability, for information only Cheapest available fare Cheapest available fare, compared to booked fare Best Buy will check: Only the flights that have been booked. Whether a lower fare is applicable. To modify the Booking File, tab behind FQBBK and hit <ENTER> : Flights are rebooked in a new class. The new fare is stored automatically en old fare ignored. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 27 of 58

FQBB (FARE QUOTE BEST BUY) The best buy facility allows the user to obtain the lowest fare for an itinerary without considering the class booked. When the best buy input is made Best Buy will check the flights that have been booked for availability of seats in the neutral availability and whether the fare is applicable. - The maximum number of segments that can be quoted is 8. - To modify the Booking File enter... FQBBK Seats will be booked in direct link! FQBA (FARE QUOTE BEST BUY IRRESPECTIVE OF AVAILABILITY) - This entry will quote the lowest fare regardless of whether seats are available or not. - This fare is for information only. - If this fare is required then flights would need to be chosen on which seats are available. FQA (FARE QUOTE ALTERNATIVE) - Provides up to 4 different fare quotes whenever different fares (carrier coded and IATA), all requiring a same booking class, do exist (Not for NAFD). - To file the desired fare quote enter eg. FFn (n = the line number of the preferred fare) CANCEL FILED FARES FXn (n to be replaced by the number of the filed fare) Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 28 of 58

DISPLAY FARE CONSTRUCTION The Fare Quote can be displayed in different ways Entry: F*Q Displays a linear fare construction. Entry: FQL Displays a fare construction ladder, providing more fare construction details. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 29 of 58

Entry: FQ followed by *FF1 Displays the same linear fare construction as F*Q, including ticket details such as fare basis, baggage, date and endorsement restrictions. The quote above is for an adult (ADT) and guaranteed (G) until 6 July The ticket will be issued on Lufthansa (CLH) F*Q & FQL are only accessible before End Transaction of the booking file. If the fare shows a Ticketing Code in the Fare Display, the Ticketing Code will be displayed instead of the Fare Basis in the Fare Construction. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 30 of 58

PRICING MODIFIERS H/FQPM PASSENGER MODIFIER (P) Specific Passengers FQP1 passenger 1 FQP1-3 passenger 1 through 3 FQP2.4 passenger 2 and 4 Passenger Types FQP1.2*YTH FQP2*YTH22 FQ*SRC FQP1*S65 SRC FQ*VNN FQ*UNN FQ*CNN FQP1.2*C06 passenger 1 = adult, passenger 4 = youth (*YTH) passenger 2 = youth 22 years old (age may be added and will be validated) All passengers are seniors passenger 1 is a senior of 65 years old (*S65) RC may be replaced by the age and will be validated. Visit Another Country, child. If used with FQ, NN must be replaced by the age! Unaccompanied child. If used with FQ, NN must be replaced by the age! Accompanied child. If used with FQ, NN must be replaced by the age! Passenger 1 is an adult, passenger 2 a child of 6 years. Instead of adding the age to the PTC s VNN, CNN and UNN, it is also possible to add the PTC code including age to the name flied. Eg. - ZENTZEN/PAMELAMISS*P-C06 DOB12JAN02 - KALKWARF/JOHNMSTR*P-V08 DOB18MAR02 - VANLAAIK/FRANSMSTR*P-U09 DOB29MAY99 Airlines do not always load all fares with the above PTC codes. The Fare Display always needs to be checked for cheaper possibilities! If a PTC has been added to the Name Field of the passenger, this will be overwritten by the FQ entry using PTC. When a regular adult fare is less expensive then the fare for the PTC you are specifying, the system will return the adult fare with the alert best fare for this passenger. If you still prefer the PTC fare, you will need to use the PTC preceded by **. E.g. FQ**YTH. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 31 of 58

Accompanied travel in separate Booking File. If an accompanied passenger is booked in a separate booking file, you can add the accompanied indicator (/ACC) in the Fare Quote. The /ACC option will validate the PTC, the age and the number of accompanying passengers. Example: The child of Mr. Klappe is booked in a separate PNR. In the Name Field Remark the PTC has been added. If a normal quote (FQ) would be done, an adult fare would show in this case. But since she is traveling with her father (although in a separate Booking File) she is entitled to the child fare. Use the /ACC indicator to quote the child fare. FQ/ACC Galileo Response: The Fare Quote is guaranteed. If the person in the separate PNR is accompanied by more than one passenger it is possible to add this to the entry. FQ/ACC2 The passenger is accompanied by 2 adults in a separate record. Abonnement fares For Abonnement Fares the PTC is *FR, but *ABB must be used for the Fare Display). An additional Booking File field C.FD/AFcardnumber must be added. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 32 of 58

To override Plating Carrier Logic, add C(carrier) to the FQ-entry. FQCKL Ticket will be printed on KLM. Non-Iata agencies have the option to activate the Plating Carrier Logic, depending if they use only 1 or more ticketing agencies. We advise them to contact the Galileo Service Desk to activate this option. Once the Plating Carrier Logic is activated, they can use this entry to validate the plating carriers for their selected Ticketing agency: FQTApcc Ticketing Agent followed by the pseudo city code of this agency. TICKETING DATE MODIFIER (T) FQT FQ.T12MAY08 Prices a booking file using today as the booking date. This modifier is indispensable if you want to auto price a fare with ticketing restrictions after the ticketing date has passed. Prices a booking file using a historical ticketing date. *************status MODIFIED, not guaranteed ************** Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 33 of 58

FARE IDENTIFICATION CODE - FIC (@farebasis) Enables you to force the FQ to apply a certain fare, even if the itinerary does not meet the rules of that fare. Using the FIC results into a FQ with the requested fare, eventually providing you with warning messages about unmatched rules if not all the rules are met. FQ@YLAP3M quotes the itinerary in apex fare FQ@YLAP3M/S1.4 quotes the apex fare for segments 1 and 4 FQS1@CL.2@Y quotes segment 1 at the CL fare, and segment 2 at the Y fare FQS1@YVLN-IBM.3@BVLN-IBM quotes segment 1 at the YVLN fare and segment 3 at the BVLN fare. 37 PRIVATE FARES The procedure for quoting Private Fares is the same as for Published Fares. However the reply is slightly different. In this case there is a difference between the situation in Belgium and the Netherlands. Belgium: Look at the reservation below. The Private Fare QLTX3M will be used. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 37 of 58

To quote the PNR use FQ. Galileo will automatically quote the Private Fare (if applicable). The ticket will be sold for EUR Normally, all passengers will be combined in one Fare Quote, even if there are different Passenger Types. For Private Fares, however, different passenger types must be quoted separately. Now open up the Fare Quote with *FF1. Galileo automatically adds a tag including a tabstop with the message NET TICKET DATA EXISTS *** >*NTD1 When we open up this extra field, the ticketing information will be shown. Normally, only the ticketing agent is allowed to open this secondary screen. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 38 of 58

Netherlands: The Dutch situation is slightly different. The Tag NET TICKET DATA EXISTS *** >*NTD1 will not appear on the screen, unless your AAT has been altered. Instead all the information will be mentioned in the same way in a Filed Fare as for published fares. In case of Net Fares extra information might be added to the Filed Fare, mentioning the Net Fare information. All passenger types can be put in one quote. Everyone who can open up the reservation will be able to see all fare details. Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 40 of 58

FILED FARE HISTORY Filed fares are automatically saved upon Booking File end transacts. However, the filed fare details will be sent to History upon a modification from the user or a vendor. Details will be available upon entering *HFF : Galileo Desktop 360 Fares May 2010 Page 41 of 58
