1 1 Microsoft.NET Case Study: Online Marketing of Jewelry Products using MS.Net Problem Statement A US-based B2C firm in jewelry industry wanted to market its jewelry products to increase the sale of items as well as diamonds. Old Technology & Limitations The old system of jewelry selling was obsolete. There was no proper online way of shopping such jewelry items. There was no site through which the client could market its products and increase sales. Solutions To help improve the clients selling for items as well as for diamond, Rigel has implemented more affiliate marketing programs with Google, Bing, Amazon and Link Share. For all this marketing a data feed file was generated. For Amazon marketing Rigel has involved with feed discussion, analysis and implementation from Amazon. We converted b2c jewels items to Amazon items, means now b2c items were re-defined according to Amazon items like item size unit, diamond carat weight unit, description words, search words etc. We also generated B2C exclusive diamonds certification from html page to jpg image. We implemented solution, such that, customers can have their discount on the checkout. These promo codes are distributed to the registered customers through . We implemented such a solution, such that, it allows user to download on daily basis on predefined time. Similarly other marketing programs were implemented for the client. We used SQL Server 2008, Jquery, Javascript, HTML, and AJAX, Google checkout, FedEx, ABC.PDF 6, Image Magick, and.net Framework 3.5,.Net Web Services etc. technologies for this project. Benefits Client achieved more revenue from Amazon item selling. Client has now its own certification in the market to sell b2c exclusive diamonds.

2 2 A large variety of services and products are now available online. A large customer base for the client. Now, the client s customer also happy with the promo code and saving their money. Customer is happy to get facility of automated diamond loading to the site.

3 3 Case Study: Sales Lead Automation Tool for IT Business Problem Statement One of our US based clients from IT industry wanted us to build Sales Lead Automation tool for their business. Old Technology & Limitations The client was maintaining and segregating sales lead management manually. He wanted us to build one automation tool which can ease his management job and also perform faster than the existing system. Solutions Our Automation experts have built such application which has automated the lead management work for this client with below mentioned features: Features: Integration and Sync with our application whenever prospect fills-up the sales inquiry form, this feature will generate an automated prefix which will be integrated with our system and fill-up the opportunity lead form automatically with specific sales type. After the form automation, admin can assign this sales opportunity to the respective sales rep. In this stage, sales rep can generate multiple quotations (as per the client s requirement) and activities to follow-up (as per the client s convenient time) and also can take sales approval (agreement) from the prospects. Report Automation this feature will help the senior management to check the performance of the different sales teams with different reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Auto Sales opportunity management and assignment this feature has ease the sales opportunity management and assignment. User Specific Dashboard this feature will give all the information regarding their day to day work e.g. follow-up with existing prospects, new prospects, meeting reminders etc.

4 4 The technologies that we used for this project are Entity Model,.Net 4.0 (for web customization), SQL Server 2008 (for data manipulation), AJAX, Telerik and SSRS Reporting. 5 5 Case Study: Hospitality Management Software for Hotel Business Problem Statement A well-known multiple hotelier in US wanted a software to manage its multiple business activities. The client wanted to maintain its budgeting system, accounting, payroll system, reports and inventories using the best technology. Old Technology & Limitations Maintaining the standards necessitates the use of state-of-the art technical assistance in order to remain ahead of the curve. Reporting on daily basis is tedious and time consuming. Therefore, our client needed one-stop solution to these problems. Solutions Rigel Networks was involved in the project since inception of requirement gathering till implementation of the project. We provided hospitality management software to manage all business activities. The software included various modules like user management, payroll management, and accounting, automated data import for revenues, budgeting and reporting. We suggested the most appropriate technology and architecture which translated into drawing Architectural, Database and Low-Level Design specifications. Rigel was also involved in designing the testing process by having documented test strategy, Unit Test cases, and Integration test cases. The application also had auto import data facility which read data from files placed at remote locations. Rigel also suggested a dashboard to display important statistical data related to hospitality industry. We developed a feature to migrate certain data from QuickBooks accounting software to the application. A dynamic reporting was designed for the project to have various report related to revenue, payroll, inventory, etc. The specific technologies that we used for this project are ASP.Net, C#.Net, JavaScript (Validation, Calculation, Data type Validation), JQuery / Json, Web Service, Console (Window Service) Application, SSRS Report, SQL Server 2008, Telerik Control, High Chart, Rtf & Xml Converter, Document Openxml and AJAX tool kit. Benefits Increased Sales. Easy-to-use and accessible budgeting system. Provided a complete solution for payroll analysis.

Due to extensive and large scale reports for hotel s daily, monthly and yearly need of data, customers could get all required reports on single click which leads to quick information availability.
