1 PRODUCT SHEET R17 Wholesale License Packs Introduction This guide provides information about the End User Interface features, functions, and reports presented as tools to be used to solve your business management requirements. We ve focused on some of the most common tasks such as managing recorded calls and calls in progress. Where possible we have included step-by-step procedures and/or examples of how to complete the functions within the application. The End User Interface allows Users of the system to manage calls by number. Users of the system might be characterized as managers or supervisors of contact centers, members of law offices, or financial institutions. Users are assigned numbers by which they are then able to manage calls in progress and recorded calls. Logging On In order to access the application, you must logon with a user name and password. The user name is assigned Business Trunks This license pack is primarily designed for SIP trunks. Each user account needs to be configured with this license pack that will be part of the SIP trunk. 2 Business Line This is a license pack which has some basic functional services such as authentication, call waiting and three way calls. It is used for users who require minimum functionalities. 3 Standard Enterprise This is the basic license pack required for all user account configuration. It has functional services like authentication, three way call, call transfer and all call forwarding options. This license pack can be used for office and remote office users. 4 Premium Enterprise This license pack is an enhanced version with additional functionalities over the basic Business line license pack. It has functionalities like Broadworks Anywhere, simultaneous ring, sequential ring, Alternate numbers and shared call appearance. This license pack is a solution best suited for executives and their assistants. When splitting the license pack, make sure the licenses added are in the same block as detailed in VUPP1 and VUPP2. Splitting licenses in any other format will be analyzed as usage of one entire pack in the concerned accounts. For example: 1. Even though a VUPP license pack was purchased, a VUPP1 license pack can be assigned to one group service and VUPP2 can be assigned to another group service 2. When a hunt group requires a call forward busy license, you should add entire service block of VUPP1. 3. Similarly when an auto attendant or a call center requires alternate number license, you should add entire block of VUPP2 to that concerned group service 4. If alternate number and call forward busy license are assigned to the same hunt group, it is considered a use of entire VUPP license. None of the other license services of this VUPP pack can be used anywhere else in that account. 5. Same goes if this pack is associated with a user account. 6. Splitting license and its use as an individual entity is considered as use of entire pack and will be charged appropriately Alteva, Inc. 5

6 VUPP1 This license pack is specifically designed with dual purpose. It can be used in user accounts to configure virtual users like call forwarding accounts. This license pack can also be purchased to be associated with group services such as Auto Attendant, Call Center and Hunt Group. Call forward always Call forward busy Call forward no answer Call forward not reachable VUPP2 This license pack is specifically designed with dual purpose. It can be used in user accounts to avail functionalities like selective forwarding and associate multiple numbers to same users. This license pack can also be purchased to be associated with group services such as Auto Attendant, Call Center and Hunt Group. 7 Call Center Services User License Pack Call Center Basic This license pack is assigned to a call center agent profiled user which is intended to design a very basic version of call center. It has functionalities like customizable entrance and comfort messages, hunt algorithms, escape out option, join, unjoin call center option and overflow routing policy. Call Center Basic Call Center Standard This license pack is assigned to a call center agent profiled user which is intended to design a more robust call center as compared to call center build with call center basic license pack. It has routing policies such as stranded, bounced. It also allows agent to set ACD state such as sign in, sign out, available, unavailable, wrap up etc. Call Center Standard Call Center Premium This license pack is assigned to a call center agent profiled user to design a more functionality oriented call center. It adds functional services over the call center basic and call center standard license pack services such as comfort bypass message, preserve wait time after forwarding calls from a call center, forcing agent to an unavailable state, auto answer on incoming calls etc. Call Center Premium 2015 Alteva, Inc. 7

8 Application License Pack Call Center Agent This application license pack is used by a call center agent profiled user who would use a server based web application to answer the calls coming to a call center. It allows the agent to answer, transfer, and conference and escalate calls right with a click of a button Call Center Agent Call Center Supervisor This application license pack is used by call center supervisor profiled user who would use a server based web application to manage the calls coming to a call center/s. It allows the supervisor to monitor agents of a call center, run statistics reports. Alteva Receptionist SMB This license pack is used by office assistant or receptionist profiled users to monitor between 0 to 30 users. Alteva Receptionist SMB Alteva Receptionist Enterprise This license pack is used by office assistant or receptionist profiled users to monitor between 0 and 800 users. Alteva Receptionist Enterprise Call Center Supervisor Application License Alteva Toolbar This license pack is used to assign the Outlook and IE compatible Toolbar.
