2 THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking to recruit a talented and experienced Multi-Channel Consultant to our Marketing Services team contribute to the on-going success of Communicator. As Multi-Channel Consultant, you will be responsible for working with prospects and clients during the pre-sales, implementation, and in-life stages of their contract. You will support the Sales and Account Management teams in reaching Communicator s targets, by setting clients up with Communicator and associated services ensuring added value and expertise is provided through expert consultancy. A logical thought process and ability to liaise with technical clients and colleagues is paramount to capturing detailed requirements in order to facilitate accurate solution design with our Technical Solutions team. Project management skills are essential to deliver the client's solution on time. Attention to detail is a must to ensure all elements of the project are thoroughly and accurately documented for full transparency, and you must be proactive in your approach when working with customers and colleagues alike. Consultants must have the ability to manage client relationships and communicate at all levels of seniority delighting the customer is at the heart of the Marketing Services team The ideal candidate should demonstrate a passion for all things digital and keep up to date with industry news and developments, as well as enthusiasm to learn about Communicator our leading technology in delivering multi-channel campaign management solutions. Communicator prides itself on its position in the market as the industry expert. Thus, it is imperative that our Multi-Channel Consultants proactively share knowledge, research and expertise with prospects and clients alike. This is to be delivered through face to face consultancy sessions as well as publishing blog articles, whitepapers and presenting at industry events. w: 2

3 YOUR PROFILE You will have a proven track record within a digital marketing role, be customer focussed, possess exceptional organisation skills and have a solid understanding of marketing. You will: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and prospects at all levels of seniority Have experience delighting clients Have exceptional project management skills Be eager to learn and be able to grasp new technologies and processes quickly Work closely with our Technical Solutions team to facilitate the design and build of client solutions which could include data structures and integration solutions Be able to document digital marketing requirements thoroughly and accurately as well as provide recommendations for improvement and maintain project specific documentation Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly Hold a confident, professional, positive and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your work and have the highest attention to detail Be incredibly proactive in your approach Hold knowledge of the digital and marketing industry and always be eager to learn more Web Analytics, Photoshop, HTML and XML skills are an advantage but not essential WHAT WE OFFER To attract exceptional people we offer an excellent package. 4 JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Multi-Channel Consultant REPORTING TO Consultancy Team Manager IMMEDIATE SUBORDINATES None PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES To work with prospects and clients during the pre-sales, implementation and in-life stages of their contract to deliver Communicator and associated services, supporting them in fulfilling their digital communications' requirements. MAIN DUTIES Obtain a detailed understanding of the Communicator's functionality as well as Communicator s product and service portfolio Obtain client requirements relating to their multi-channel communication needs and accurately document these in a format that is understandable by both technical and non-technical contacts Analyse client requirements and current activity for multi-channel communication management across the whole of their business. Identify appropriate opportunities for Communicator and associated services, ensuring these are implemented in an a commercially effective way Act as the project manager on projects for both existing and new clients and perform all appropriate implementation tasks and activities with the overall responsibility of ensuring successful project delivery and delighting the customer Log all client interaction and activity accurately in our CRM solution; Salesforce, providing company-wide visibility Advise clients on the principles of online and offline communications at every touch point and ensure that best practice advice is given at every opportunity to achieve the delivery of an integrated multi-channel strategy Provide clients with tactical recommendations on a variety of topics including creative, deliverability, integration, data hygiene, privacy, segmentation, testing strategies, etc. w: 4

5 Perform detailed analysis across all campaign variables and results, making actionable recommendations for improvement Ensure that the Consultancy Team Manager is kept up to date in a timely manner on progress and issues that need to be escalated Keep abreast of developments and innovations within digital and marketing industries,, particularly in the areas of best practice, delivery and strategic advice Proactively liaise with clients and colleagues to draw their attention to industry developments and best practice and highlight how they can make further use of Communicator and associated services Use your initiative and progress your projects in line with agreed timescales as well as having the flexibility to support other Marketing Services team members Develop knowledge and have an opinion on the subjects within the industry and work with other members of the Marketing Services team to ensure that this information is shared externally using the website, client meetings and industry events. Support the Sales and Account Management teams in reaching Communicator s aggressive sales targets Work closely with other Marketing Services teams to deliver projects collectively w: 5
