1 SENIOR CLINICAL SUPERVISOR BRIEF JOB SUMMARY: In accordance with the needs of the ages of the population served by Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics, the Senior Clinical Supervisor will provide billable on-site and off-site outpatient behavioral psychology services to children with developmental disabilities, skill deficits, and behavior problems and their families. Specifically, provide assessment and treatment services based on principles of applied behavior analysis to reduce child problem behavior and increase adaptive skills. Provide parent, teacher, and staff training, and monitor effectiveness and implementation of behavioral protocols in community settings, including home and school programs. The Senior Clinical Supervisor is involved with the recruitment, training and supervision of Clinical Specialists and Behavior Therapists. The Senior Clinical Supervisor assists in the quality assurance review of written assessments and the implementation of behavioral interventions; completes and submits required reports. The in-depth experience and education of the Senior Clinical Supervisor prepares them well to work on extremely difficult and complicated cases involving serious behavior problems. Work assignments require significant amounts of one-on-one interactions with behavior analysts, administrators, community providers and/or clients receiving services (e.g., children and caregivers). As a result, the ability to communicate with diverse audiences is necessary. Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics recognizes that Behavior Analysts vary in the depth and application of their skills and training. The Senior Clinical Supervisor will be evaluated based on the development and usage of such skills and expertise, in addition to their years of pertinent service in the field, and will be eligible for either Senior Clinical Supervisor: Tier 1, if they hold at least 3 years of qualified experience, training and application in the field of applied behavior analysis or Senior Clinical Supervisor: Tier 2, if they hold at least 8 years of qualified experience, training and application in the field of applied behavior analysis. Critical features of this position are described under the headings below, but are subject to change at the discretion of KBP and its management. This job description reflects the designation of essential job functions but does not provide an all-inclusive list of duties that may be assigned. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Directs the development of individual assessment and treatment plans. Conceptualize assessment and treatment plans and contribute during daily sessions to overall development of the case. Provides BCBA supervision experience hours by assigned the following BACB approved duties/responsibilities to his/her clinical supervisee(s): o Direct implementation of behavior protocols and programs o Conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., stimulus preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment);

2 Senior Clinical Supervisor 2 o Designing, implementing, and systematically monitoring skill- acquisition and behavior-reduction programs; o Overseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others; o Training, designing behavioral systems, and performance management; o Other activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to behavior analysis such as attending planning meetings regarding the behavior analytic program, researching the literature related to the program, and talking to individuals about the program. Obtains appropriate documentation for BACB supervision, adheres to BACB guidelines for supervision, and fulfills contractual responsibilities as outlined in supervision contracts with supervisees. Lead therapist responsibilities completes skill acquisition programming & treatment plan writing, conducts overlap sessions with behavior therapists, provides coverage for client sessions, completes insurance authorizations and reauthorizations, conduct team meetings, conducts functional assessments, acts as primary point of contact for parents, trains team members on skill acquisition programs, data sheets, & behavior protocols, trains treatment team members to take on more case responsibilities as team members gain more skills, attends ILP meetings at TKA, attends IEP meetings at public school, provides billable hours for all programming and plan writing that can be billed for, conducts case observations at TKA for periodic assessment of progress and concerns, ensures case documents and binders are up-todate and in compliance with policies, conducts parent training sessions, communicates with other community providers, reviews research literature for case decisions, conducts skills assessments or provides supervision to Senior Behavior Therapists on conducting skill assessments, delegates treatment team responsibilities in conjunction with the case manager Case management responsibilities provides case oversight, billing information, attends ILP meetings at TKA, attends IEP meetings at public school, attends team meetings, meets with lead therapists each week for case supervision, approves progress notes, delegates treatment team responsibilities in conjunction with the lead therapist Provide weekly updates about staff performance at performance review meetings Caregiver training- Provides training for parents, teachers and/or staff; insures protocols/programs are carried out correctly. Provides diplomatic and appropriate corrective feedback. Demonstrates sensitivity to parent concerns. Provide timely updates to supervisory staff. Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and monitors the activities of Behavior Therapists and Clinical Specialists including oversight of the following: caregiver training, completion of behavior assessments, development and implementation of behavior programs, data collection and other related services. Fulfills committee responsibilities for the Behavior Plan Review Committee as well as any other assigned or voluntary committee Participates in the training of interns, post-doctoral fellows, trainees from other disciplines in principles of behavior analysis with an emphasis on treatment strategy selection Accompany supervisees on field site visits. Skill strengths and deficits shall be identified and additional training shall be provided to enhance the abilities of supervisees. Interdisciplinary skills initiates and maintains contact with KBP disciplines and outside agencies (schools, physicians). Incorporates feedback from other professionals into assessment and treatment plan. Provides timely training to other professionals.

3 Senior Clinical Supervisor 3 Data Management Develops data collection system for parents, teachers and/or staff. Obtains follow-up data in a timely manner. Maintains up-to-date graphs. Organizes and presents data in ways to facilitate interpretation. Documentation Timely and thorough completion of evaluation reports, progress notes and correspondence. Problem solving Anticipates problems and develops alternative strategies for solving problems. Generates solutions independently and in conjunction with the case manager or department supervisor. Demonstrates the ability to appropriately aid the needs of children and adolescents with or without a developmental disability and their families. Attends ongoing trainings and supervision with supervisors on an as needed basis. Communicates courteously and professionally with families, staff, and community providers. Adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Behavior Analysis Department as well as Keystone s Policies and Procedures Maintains familiarity with Florida state laws, and the laws and ethical guidelines defined by the credentialing boards with respect to patient confidentiality, conflicting interests, reporting of abuse, and patient termination. Acceptance and use of supervision- benefiting from supervision sessions as evidenced by carrying out plans of action, asking questions, participating in discussion, seeking feedback about performance and progress of cases, seeking out supervision as needed, accepting positive and corrective feedback. Clinical duties as indicated for specific projects- Takes responsibility for and contributes to individual projects above and beyond those responsibilities related to day-to-day activities. Indicates key areas of responsibility, major job duties, special projects and key objectives for this position. These items should be evaluated throughout the year and included in the written annual evaluation Public presentation- Alters presentation according to audience. Conceptualizes information and succinctly summarize for audience. Answers questions relating to conceptualization of case (e.g., methodology) or practical issues. Interdisciplinary skills- Initiates and maintains contact with KBP disciplines and outside agencies. Incorporates feedback from other professional into assessment and treatment plan. Provides timely training to other professionals. Billable Hourso Tier 1: at least 22 billables hours weekly o Tier 2: at least 30 billables hours weekly PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be able to assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, sitting, standing, etc.) in the course of working with children with developmental disabilities and behavior problems. 2. Must be able to lift and carry clients in braces and other adaptive equipment. 3. Must be able to restrain/hold/transport patients in the course of behavioral management. 4. Must be able to work in a highly stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor throughout daily interactions with patients, staff, parents, and visitors. 5. Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication

4 Senior Clinical Supervisor 4 6. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. 7. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time. 8. Must be able to travel to and from different locations and sites in the greater Jacksonville and South Georgia areas. 9. Must have manual dexterity sufficient to perform various keyboard functions. 10. Must be physically present at the assigned job site. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 1. SUPERVISED BY: Director of Behavior Analysis, School Director 2. PERSONNEL SUPERVISED: Behavior Therapist I, Behavior Therapist II, Senior Behavior Therapist, Clinical Specialist QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a Drivers license with reliable transportation and auto insurance for driving to client appointments. Individual must demonstrate competency across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KBP. Clinical care focuses on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: This position requires a Master s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, with at least three years of applicable experience; or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, with one year of professional experience. The Master s degree is a minimum requirement for this position and cannot be waived. All staff assigned to this classification must maintain certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RELATED TRAINING: Previous training in applied behavior analysis and theoretical understanding and philosophical appreciation for behavioral intervention in a clinical setting is required. Maintain up-to-date training/certification status in CPR, Professional Crisis Management, and other company-provided in-service topics. Must have and maintain a basic knowledge of clinical billing skills, computer systems, and applicable software. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must be able to accept constructive feedback. Must be able to organize and manage time and manage multiple tasks. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with other employees, clients, and their families as well as the general public, across all age groups, including but not limited to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. Ability to demonstrate professional behavior by adhering to organizational policies and procedures, and assuming authority appropriately. Must maintain adequate personal grooming consistent with professional appearance.
