1 WORKSHOP SPAIN SOUTH KOREA Development of Aquaculture and Biotechnology of algae: Present and Future Site: Salón de Grados Facultad de Ciencias. Date: 22 May 2015 Objetive: The main objetive of the workshop is to present and discuss the advances in Research+Developement on Cultivation and Biotecnhnology of algae in Spain and South Corea by research groups of public research centers and private companies in order to promote the colaboration and the transfer of knowledge and technology to productive sectors of our society. The workshop will be held in the frame of the cooperation agreement between Málaga and Incheon Universities and it is include in the strategical objetives of Andalucia Tech and Ceimar Intenacional Excellence Campus. In the first part of the workshop research group and companies will present results and products related to the applied research with special emphasis in the comercial applications of the culture technology and the use of algal biomass for Cosmetical, Food /Feed, Bistimulants for agriculture and energy (biofules) applications. Biomass platform (Bioplat) and Aquaculture Platform of Spain will present strategies and programs for coperation at natiaonal and international levels. Afetr the oral presentations, a round table among speakers, companies and public will open in order to discuss and to stablish sinergenic cooperation among the groups. The second part of the workshops in the aftrrnoon will be centred in the presentation of more specific and new scientific results with potential application in the productive sectors related to the cultivation and biotechnology of algae
