1 Hello Sandra Kim: Cigna HealthSpring (including Cigna Medical Group, Alegis Care, and Leon Medical Centers) is ready to launch the ICD 10 CM Coder Training for all employees that are currently certified coders or perform coding duties in their job role. We have contracted with AHIMA to provide the training online. Your Username for the training is CIGNA_PA_109. Your password for the Questionmark Portal (for the Readiness Assessment and Final Assessment) is ahima6851. You cannot change this password. For the AHIMA LMS (for all remaining training items), the Username will be the same, CIGNA_PA_109, and the initial password is ahima4u. After the initial logon, you will be prompted to change your password. Please pay careful attention to the information in the table below. Your first deadline is January 20 th for the AHIMIA Online CM Readiness Assessment. Below is a synopsis of the training:

2 1 January 13 January 20 AHIMA Online CM Readiness Assessment Approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete. 100 questions. Take the AHIMA Online CM Readiness Assessment. This assessment determines your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This exam is located in the Questionmark portal and is different from the AHIMA LMS where the actual training takes place. Assessment Link: on Note: Your Username is CIGNA_PA_109 and the Password is ahima6851. You cannot change your password. Take the exam labeled CTKICD10CM100. Note: DO NOT take the one labeled C10ACM100. This will be the final exam. Assessment Directions: QuestionmarkGuide4Students.pdf 2 January 21 Monica and Jeff will complete the registration process and order the Anatomy & Physiology books for all students who received a 79% or less on the AHIMA Online CM Readiness Assessment. 3 January 21 February 2 (once you finish the readiness assessment you can begin) ICD 10 CM Overview: Deciphering the Code Complete the ICD 10 CM Overview: Deciphering the Code course. This course is in the AHIMA LMS. You don t have to complete the exam in one sitting. Once you start, you have 100 hours to finish. After 100 hours, it is automatically submitted and you cannot re access the assessment. You can only take this assessment once. There are no retakes. If you accidentally hit Submit or the 100 hours passes before you are done, send an to ICD10CoderHelp@healthspring.com. If you are not done by January 17 th, you will receive reminder to complete the assessment by end of day on January 20 th. You will receive 2 CEUs for completing this assessment no matter what you score. If you finish with an 80% or better, you can skip the Anatomy & Physiology training. If you finish with a 79% or less, you must take the Anatomy & Physiology training. It will take about a week or two to receive the books. In the meantime, you can begin the ICD 10 Coder training in the AHIMA LMS. Approximately 6 hours to complete Your manager should have delivered your OPTUM 2014 Draft CM book to you which you will need to complete this course. The

3 4 Any time after your A&P book arrives and you have been given your login credentials. You should try to complete this training no later than March 15, Any time after you finish the Deciphering the Code course. You should plan to complete this training no later than August 30 th, so you still have time to complete the case studies and final assessment. AHIMA LMS Directions: LMSInstructions4Students.pdf ICD 10 Foundations: Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) If you completed the readiness assessment with a 79% or less, complete the Anatomy and Physiology training. Details to come in a 2 nd . ICD 10 CM Chapter 1 22 Training Complete the ICD 10 CM Chapter 1 to 22 training. There is one course for each chapter in the ICD 10 CM book. Note: For Chapter 19 (Injury, Poisoning and Certain Other Consequences of External Causes), there are 2 courses. There are a total of 21 chapters for 22 courses. The login information is the same as what is described in row 3 for the ICD 10 CM Overview: Deciphering the Code course. exceptions are Cigna Medical Group and the six people that work for Monica Watson. Those two groups should already have your book. If you need to take the Anatomy & Physiology training, you can start with this course while the A&P book is on order. ** You will receive 6 CEUs for completing this course if you receive a 70% or better. Approximately 60 hours to complete. ** You will receive 60 CEUs for completing this training if you receive a 70% or better. This score is based on the tests at the end of each module and the final exam. There is no link at the end to print a certificate. Print a copy of your test scores for your records. Approximately 22 hours to complete (1 hour per chapter). You should complete the A&P training first (unless you passed the readiness assessment). If you are still waiting on your A&P book, you can start on this training. You should complete a minimum of 1 chapter per week. We recommend 2 chapters per week. ** You will receive 22 CEUs for completing this training if you receive a 70% or better. 6 After you complete the ICD 10 CM Chapter Coding Practice: ICD 10 CM Physician Office Cases 4 hours to complete. ** You will receive 4 CEUs for completing

August 15, The login information is the same as what is described in row 3 for the ICD 10 CM Overview: Deciphering the Code course. 7 Prior to September 15, 2014 AHIMA Online CM Final Assessment Approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete. 100 questions. Complete the AHIMA Online CM Final Assessment. You only get one chance to take the exam, This Final Assessment is located in the Questionmark portal where the Readiness Assessment was taken. Final Assessment Link: on Note: Your Username is CIGNA_PA_109 and the Password is ahima6851. You cannot change your password. Take the exam labeled C10ACM100. Note: DO NOT take the one labeled CTKICD10CM100. That is the Anatomy & Physiology Readiness Assessment from the beginning of the training. so make sure you are prepared beforehand. You must pass with a 90% or better to code in ICD 10 Production beginning October 1, If you receive an 89% or less on the exam, you will need to pass a 2 nd exam with a 90% or better. Monica Watson will administer this exam. You will receive 4 CEUs for completing the final exam no matter what you score. 8 Prior to October 1, 2014 (see bullets for more info) AAPC Final Exam If you are credentialed by AAPC, complete their online exam. Required for AAPC certified coders (excluding CIRCC, CPPM, and CPCO), recommended for all other coders. Two (2) years to take and pass the assessment before September 30, 2015 (one year after implementation). 75 questions, 3.5 hours, open book, online, and unproctored. Coders will have two (2) attempts at passing

5 for the $60 administration fee. Cigna HealthSpring will pay for the first $60 fee if you pass prior to October 1, Submit the receipt with an expense report. If you pass after October 1, 2014, you will be not be reimbursed by Cigna HealthSpring. ICD 10 CM only (ICD 10 PCS will not be covered in the assessment). No CEUs given 9 AHIMA LMS Course Exams After you complete the Anatomy & Physiology, Deciphering the Code, ICD 10 CM Chapters, and Physician Office Cases, there will be an exam that you must complete before moving on to the next course. After you take each exam, if you receive a 69% or below, you must retake the exam a second time in an attempt to achieve a higher score. Remember, you only receive the CEUs if you receive a 70% or better. There is a limit of 2 tries to take each exam. After you complete the 2 nd exam, you must move on to the next course no matter how you perform on the exam. Even though there is a limit of 2 tries for each exam, you can retake the actual training as many times as you feel necessary to learn the material. Even though you receive the CEUs for a 70% or better, you should strive for a 90% or better on each of the exams so that you are well prepared for the final exam. Once you pass an exam, take the survey. At the end you can print your CEU certificate. This is not applicable for the A&P training or the physician office cases. For the Anatomy & Physiology training, the

6 score is based on the tests at the end of each module and the final exam. There is no link at the end to print a certificate. You can print a copy of your test scores for your records. For the ICD 10 CM Physician Office Cases, you receive points for each completed case and the points need to convert to a 70% or better to obtain the CEUs. Other Training Information: Should you no longer be employed by Cigna HealthSpring (or Cigna Medical Group, Leon Medical Centers, or Alegis Care) prior to completing the final exam, you will not be able to complete the training on your own. o o o You can keep the CEUs for the assessments, courses, and/or cases that you completed. Your Username will be held, password reset, and later reassigned as needed. You will return the Anatomy & Physiology book to your manager on your last day.

7 o You will return the 2014 ICD 10 Draft CM book to your manager on your last day. o You can go into the AHIMA LMS and print a copy of your completed work for your own records. o Your manager will need to let Monica Watson and Jeffery Kahoe know, so we can make a copy of your progress to insert in your HR file. The AHIMA ICD 10 CM Coder training must be completed on your own time, unless specified otherwise by your Manager. You will need to enter the hours spent on training in YCL for over time reimbursement. We will have a dedicated address for all ICD 10 related training and technical questions.
