6 PAYMENT PLANS Tuition Fees are payable in full at the beginning of each programme by the date specified. However, the School will allow students to pay their tuition fees according to any payment plan selected below. This does not apply to Advanced Management Electives and Executive Development Courses. Full Payment 2-Part Installment Plan 4-Part Installment Plan Monthly Installment Plan To access a payment plan, students will pay a minimum deposit of 25% of the programme fee to be followed by the prescribed payment periods to facilitate financial clearance for examinations. Students must complete and sign an agreement form for the payment plan chosen. Forms are available from the MSBM Accounting Department or your Coordinator. The re-sit examination fee is $15,000 MSBM guarantees that fees will be fixed for the duration of the programme with the exception of the textbook component. 17 Tuition Fee Payment Guidelines 1. Enrolment in Payment Plan All students who have not paid their tuition fee in full MUST enroll in one of the MSB Payment Plans by completing a Payment Plan Agreement Form. 2. Payment Plan Agreement Forms Payment Agreement forms are available at the MSBM reception desk and Accounts Department and may also be downloaded from our website. 17 Mona School of Business & Management Students Catalogue
18 3. Method of Payment Payments may be made: a. At the MSBM Accounts Department via credit card, debit card or manager s cheque. NB. CASH OR PERSONAL CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. b. At any National Commercial Bank Branch by using a special MSB voucher. Vouchers are available at the MSBM reception desk, in the MSBM Library / Documentation centre and in the Accounts Department. c. By wire transfers (details available upon request). In order to ensure prompt and proper credit of payment to your account, please submit a copy of the payment voucher to the MSBM Accounts Department NB: scanned and faxed copies of vouchers are accepted and may be sent via Fax to the attention of Jodiene Hutchinson. 18 Mona School of Business & Management Students Catalogue
19 For all your tuition fee payment needs, please contact: Jodiene Hutchinson / extn. 248 OR FINANCIAL CLEARANCE Financial clearance is a requirement for registration and sitting of examinations. To obtain financial clearance and receive reading material, students must maintain up to date fee payments. 20 DEFAULT POLICY 1. Failure to pay as per agreement by the scheduled date(s) will constitute a breach and students will be considered to be in default. 2. In the event of a default, the students registration/academic record will remain and the following action will be taken: (a) Debarment from future registration in all courses/programmes at MSBM. (b) Debarment from examinations. (c) Withholding of examination results for all courses. (d) Withholding of textbooks and other course materials. (e) Non-issuance of transcripts, certificates and other records of status. (f) Possible denial of access to the facilities. 20 Mona School of Business & Management Students Catalogue

In the final year of your programme, outstanding balances after the date specified below, will attract an annual interest rate of 12%: - Diploma in Business Administration - February 28 - MBA Full Time - March 31 - MBA Part Time - March 31 - EMBA - March 31 - ERM - January 31 - MBM - September 30 - DBA - October 30 - MSc. TPM - March 31 NB. You will be required to sign a promissory note which is legally binding. 4. 22 CANCELLATION OF PAYMENT PLAN The payment plan may be canceled by the applicant at any time by submitting a written request. On cancellation of a payment plan, any outstanding balance becomes due and payable immediately. Once a payment plan has been canceled the MSBM default policy will apply. (see default policy) WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAMME In the event that a student who has enrolled in a payment plan withdraws from the programme, the normal MSBM refund policy will apply if application of payments results in a credit balance on the student s account. (see refund policy) If there is an outstanding balance at the time of withdrawal, the balance becomes due and payable immediately.
