This division designs and fabricates custom built machinery in its facility located in West Michigan. Our machines for product molding, extruding and depositing are built to meet the varying needs of our customers in an ever-changing marketplace. Depositing Capabilities for the Confectionery Industry Chocolate Molding Capabilities At Imperial Design Technologies, a unique modular design concept for chocolate molding provides the means for you to receive a system to meet present needs as well as long-term growth. Whether you begin with our Unit Depositor or a complete One-Shot Plant, you will be able to increase your production output and product versatility, including utilizing all of the components from your original investment for building a complete 3-Stage Shell Plant. Unit Depositor: This system is comprised of a pneumatic piston depositor and an indexing loose mound conveyor for producing solid products and products with inclusions. One Shot Mold Plant: Our flagship design is a complete plant, containing the portable oneshot depositor, vibration, cooling system and demoulding with the product take-away discharge conveyor. Universal Shell Molding Plant: For even greater product flexibility, Imperial Design provides the Universal Chocolate Shell Moulding Plant. The basic design provides an In-Line Plant, which requires no more factory floor space than a typical chocolate coating line. Mold Plant Accessories: For added product flexibility, we offer a full range of components for automatic delivery of mixed chocolate and inclusions. Piston Blocks: We offer a full range of spare parts for various makes and models of Mold Plants and Depositors. Our Piston Blocks are precision machined from aluminum and hard coat anodized. Stainless Steel Valve Shafts and Pistons can also be included to make up a complete Piston Block Assembly. All Piston Blocks are water jacketed for maintaining product temperature during deposit. Deposit Plates: We offer a full range of spare parts for various makes and models of Mold Plants and Depositors. Our Deposit Plates are precision machined from aluminum and hard coat anodized. Deposit Plates are available to produce Solid Products, One-Shot Products, and Solid Products with Inclusions.

7 Depositing Capabilities Imperial Design Technologies designs and produces depositing equipment having the capability to produce a variety of products serving the confectionery industry. Depending on the product requirement a choice of design principles can be included to best suit your product characteristics. Confectionery items for turtles, patties, pralines and non-pariels can be produced using our depositing systems. Freestanding Cantilever Oscillating Depositor: The Depositor is a self-contained free standing cantilever unit with a single jacketed hopper. What this system allows for is a product mass with or without inclusions to be deposited onto a moving conveyor belt. The depositing head oscillates to maintain a uniform depositing shape. Extrusion Capabilities Imperial Design Technologies designs and produces a wide variety of extrusion machines for servicing the confectionery, bakery and snack food industries. Depending on the product requirements, a choice of design principles can be included that best suit your product characteristics...confectionery items for cream, caramel, coconut, grained nougat, marzipan, marshmallow, and fruit & nut-filled box-chocolate or bar centers...bakery items include the typical cookie/biscuit doughs with or without inclusions...snack items include a wide range of health food bars. Continuous Feed Roll Extruder: Intermittent Feed Roll Extruder: The design principles include either intermittent or continuous feel roll action, combined with or without a wire-cutoff mechanism. Servo Wirecut Extruder: With our servo wirecut extruder, the feed roll wire and band raise motions are P.L.C. coordinated and controlled for greater product flexibility. Recipe storage allows for easy recall of motion parameters. Four Roll Extruder: The four roll extruder produces special items containing two masses with different flavors/colors, or with two entirely different masses. Frozen Dough Wirecut Extruder: For specialty frozen dough items, the extruder can be furnished with a paper feed system, along with a paper slitter and cross-cutter. Filler Blocks: We offer a full range of spare parts for various makes and models of Extruders and Wirecut Machines. Our Filler Blocks are precision machined from aluminum and hard coat anodized. Teflon sleeve inserts may be added to reduce friction on certain products. Dies: We offer a full range of spare parts for various makes and models of Extruders and Wirecut Machines. Our Dies are precision machined from aluminum and hard coat anodized. Teflon block inserts may be added to reduce friction on certain products.
