When Spam was just a meat product. Typewriter Putting film in a camera and waiting for it to be developed. Payphones Not knowing who was calling you on the phone. LEGO just being square blocks of various sizes, with the odd wheel, window or door. what today s student takes for granted context: the generation gap is real The stuff that they never had to live without. The internet Cell phones Microwaves 200 channels of TV Instant messaging GPS Its OK to have 15 phone numbers (none of which you actually have memorized) to reach your family of three. what today s student takes for granted 5
