4 I WANT AN ACCOUNT WITH FLEXIBILITY As a Private Banking client, you can benefit from a current account designed to meet your individual needs and which gives a high standard of personal service delivered by your Private Banking and Advice Manager. With our Club Lloyds Private Banking Account you can make the most of a choice of lovely extras including: Variable, tiered credit interest paid on balances in your account from 1 to 4, A personal overdraft option available from day one. Exclusive access to offers on other eligible Lloyds Bank products. One of the three Lifestyle Benefits every year a Gourmet Society dining membership, a choice of magazine subscription or six cinema tickets. Extras on us When you choose Club Lloyds you can enjoy these extras on us you pay a 5 monthly fee which we ll automatically refund each month, while you are a Private Banking client. 1

6 Current account credit interest I D LIKE MY MONEY TO WORK FOR ME Tiered credit interest for your Club Lloyds Private Banking Account 4.00% AER * variable The interest rate you will earn on your whole balance when your balance is between With Club Lloyds, you earn extra interest on the money in your Club Lloyds Private Banking Account. Get tiered interest of up to 4.00% AER/3.93% Gross ** variable, so the more money you keep in your account, the more interest you receive on balances from 1-4, Interest rates are calculated daily on the balance you hold in your account. It is paid monthly, so even when your balance fluctuates over the month, you ll still be earning interest on your money. We don t pay interest on amounts of 5, and over. 9 Banking offers Exclusive Club Lloyds mortgage discount Savings accounts Home Insurance Whether you re buying your dream home, a pied-à-terre in the city or a bolthole by the sea, you can save money with an exclusive discount on selected mortgages. The discount does not apply to your Buy to Let, Local Lend a Hand, Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Negative Equity, Product Transfer, Further Advance Mortgages or your existing Lloyds Bank Mortgage. Details of mortgage eligibility are on page 17. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Save between 25 and 400 each month by standing order with our Club Lloyds Monthly Saver, to get a fixed interest rate for one year. After 12 months, this account matures into an Easy Saver with bonus. You can open one Club Lloyds Monthly Saver (two for joint account holders), though if you would like to save more, the standard Monthly Saver can be another option. Or with our Club Lloyds Saver you can get a variable interest rate, including a fixed bonus for the first 12 months on balances of 1,500 or more, with instant access to your money. Choose from monthly or annual interest payments and receive a fixed bonus paid on balances over 1,500 for the first 12 months. After 12 months, the variable rate without bonus applies. As a Club Lloyds customer we'll give you a 10% discount when you take out a new combined buildings and contents home insurance policy, or upgrade from a buildings only or contents only policy to a combined one. This Club Lloyds offer is only available on Home Solutions and Home Options products and not available via comparison sites. Dining offers Cinema tickets Magazine subscription Annual Gourmet Society membership typically gives you deals like 2 for 1 or 25% off food and drink at over 6,000 participating restaurants including national chains, award winners and local favourites. Get six tickets a year for films showing at Vue cinemas with over 80 locations around the UK. An annual magazine subscription choose from a selection of printed and digital magazines (compatible with Apple devices), published by Hearst Magazines, including Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Prima and Men s Health. These Lifestyle Benefits are administered by The Grass Roots Group UK Ltd, Pennyroyal Court, Station Road, Tring, Herts, HP23 5QZ. Company Registration Number They use different 3rd party suppliers to provide each benefit. In each case these are subject to the supplier s terms and conditions, which will be provided separately. Exclusions apply. One benefit is available each 12 months. The selection may be subject to change upon notice by us or the supplier. You can change or cancel the choice you make at account opening within 30 days. If you do not make a selection when you join Club Lloyds you can do so by contacting us on or visiting lloydsbank.com/club-lloyds. If you do this more than 30 days after you open or upgrade your account you will receive your Lifestyle Benefit on a pro rata basis. After that the selected benefit can only be changed within a restricted window around the anniversary of when you opened the account. We will write to you about this closer to the time. All the information you ll need about your Lifestyle Benefits will be sent to you by or post, including: Everything you need to choose a Lifestyle Benefit with details about how and when you ll receive it. What to do if you change your mind. All the Terms and Conditions you need to read about your chosen benefit, as well as details of any exclusions that apply. If you don t receive anything within 14 days, or have any queries that you d like to discuss, please call (8am to 10pm, seven days a week). Key terms and conditions Cinema tickets cinema codes can only be exchanged for a Standard 2D admission ticket to any Vue cinema, or as part payment towards a 3D or other special admission. Exclusions are detailed in the Lifestyle Benefits terms within your welcome letter. The codes may not be used to reserve an admission ticket and can t be used after the expiration dates allocated. Each code can only be used once. Annual Gourmet Society membership participating restaurants may change at any time and discounts and availability may vary. Advance booking may be required. You can t use the card with any set menus. Magazine Subscription if you choose a digital magazine title you must provide a valid address. It can take up to 6 weeks to receive the first publication from confirming the title you want to receive. Subscriptions may not include promotional items packaged with the magazine. 8

12 Day-to-day banking I NEED STRAIGHTFORWARD DAY-TO-DAY BANKING A personal overdraft When you open your account you are able to apply for an instant overdraft. We'll talk with you to agree a personal credit limit, overdraft rate and arrangement fee. Your personal credit limit will be subject to approval. Once agreed, we will immediately apply this to your account. Please ask us for details. Lending is subject to our responsible lending criteria. How much we lend, the period and rate available are subject to our assessment of your circumstances. Specific eligibility criteria and conditions apply for certain types of lending. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to apply. Lending is subject to status and application and security may be required. Overdrafts are repayable in full on demand, and changes in exchange rates may increase the sterling equivalent of your debt. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Mortgage eligibility details can be found on page 17. A Visa debit card for speed and flexibility With a Private Banking Visa debit card you can pay for goods and services wherever you see the Visa sign in 27 million outlets and at over 1 million cash machines worldwide. It s safer than cash and quicker to use than cheques. Use your Private Banking Visa debit card for: day to day spending in shops, bars and restaurants online shopping book or buy securely on the web or over the phone paying your bills settle regular and oneoff bills simply and quickly saving time get up to 50 cash back in most supermarkets. You can withdraw up to 500 per day from a cashpoint with your card (as long you have enough money in your account). It also comes with built-in Contactless technology for a faster way to shop, allowing you to pay for goods up to 20 with some UK retailers without having to enter your PIN. 9

17 Ways to bank I D LIKE TO MANAGE MY MONEY WHEN IT SUITS ME Telephone Banking Our Private Banking Telephone Service gives you the freedom to manage your everyday finances when it suits you best. You can call to speak directly to a member of our UK-based Telephone Banking team 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you need to call us from abroad, by mobile or prefer not to use our 0845 number, you can also call us on Our team of advisers can help you: Check your balance and recent transactions on your current and savings accounts Transfer money between your Lloyds Bank accounts Pay your bills or make payments to other account holders Arrange international payments and order travel money. Please note that although our lines are always open, not all Telephone Banking services are available 24 hours a day. There may be limits on payments you can make and we may not be able to start processing all payments instructed out of normal banking hours. Local call charges apply from a landline, these may be higher if calling from a mobile. TELEPHONE BANKING Call hours a day, seven days a week. 14

18 Ways to bank Internet Banking Our Internet Banking service is a simple and convenient way to manage your finances wherever and whenever you have internet access: View, search and download statements and check your balance in real time Move money and make payments in the UK and abroad View, pay and manage your bills online Order foreign currency and travellers cheques Register for Mobile Banking and text alerts to manage your money on the move See what you re spending with Money Manager. Our online service is safe and secure. If you are a victim of online fraud through using our service, we ll provide a full refund, as long as you ve taken reasonable precautions to protect you and us from unauthorised access to your account. Cashsweep TO REGISTER FOR INTERNET BANKING lloydsbank.com/internet If you have a Club Lloyds Private Banking Account and a Private Banking Investment Account you can take advantage of our Cashsweep facility to maximise the interest rate benefits on any surplus funds. By monitoring your day-to-day spending we can move money between your accounts, using limits pre-agreed with you. When you have a surplus in your current account we can move money across to your investment account to boost your savings. Alternatively, when your current account balance drops below the pre-agreed level, we ll automatically top up your balance from your investment account to help you manage your finances. Cashsweep takes place once a day, normally once all other transactions have been carried out. Please ask your Private Banking and Advice Manager for full details and any restrictions. 15

19 Moving your account HOW CAN I TRANSFER MY ACCOUNT? Moving your account If you already have a Lloyds Bank current account, upgrading to a Club Lloyds Private Banking Account is simple and straightforward. If you are new to Lloyds Bank, we can move your existing account with the minimum of fuss and you can take advantage of the Current Account Switching Guarantee: in just seven working days you ll have your new current account set up and ready to use. How our Switching Guarantee works We will agree a switch date (which can be anytime from seven working days from now, or up to 30 days if you re not ready to switch just yet). You can use your old account as normal up until the switch date. We will also transfer any remaining balance from your old account to your new one or, if you have a debit balance in your old account, we can arrange to transfer money from your new account to pay off the amount. From the switch date we will start making payments from your Lloyds Bank account. We will work with your old bank to close your account on the switch date. We ll give you a copy of the Current Account Switch Guarantee, Current Account Switch Agreement and Account Closure Instruction for your existing account, which include full details of the Current Account Switch Service. What to do next To apply, complete the Club Lloyds Private Banking Account application form and return it to your Private Banking and Advice Manager. 20 Important information ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Account eligibility You need to continue to live in the UK to take advantage of the Club Lloyds banking offers and Lifestyle Benefits. Mortgage eligibility Lending is subject to our responsible lending criteria. How much we lend, the period and rate available are subject to our assessment of your circumstances. Specific eligibility criteria and conditions apply for certain types of lending. Lending is subject to status and application. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to apply. Security for the loan will be required. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Overdrafts You can find more details about all our overdraft fees, and an explanation of how our overdrafts work in our Banking Charges guide at lloydsbank.com All overdrafts are subject to our assessment of your circumstances and are repayable in full on demand. You must be aged 18 or over to apply. Rate definitions AER * stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if it was paid and compounded once each year. As every advertisement for a product that pays credit interest will contain an AER you can compare more easily what return you can expect from your money over time. Gross ** rate is the contractual rate of interest payable before the deduction of income tax at the rate specified by law. Net *** rate is the rate of interest which would be payable after allowing for the deduction of income tax at the rate specified by law. Home Insurance Lloyds Bank Home Solutions and Home Options are underwritten by Lloyds Bank General Insurance Limited. Multi-currency borrowing Changes in exchange rate may increase the sterling equivalent of your debt. 17

21 Important information Compensation arrangements We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The FSCS can pay compensation to depositors if a bank is unable to meet its financial obligations. Most depositors including most individuals and small businesses are covered by the scheme. In respect of deposits, an eligible depositor is entitled to claim up to 85,000. For joint accounts each account holder is treated as having a claim in respect of their share so, for a joint account held by two eligible depositors, the maximum amount that could be claimed would be 85,000 each (making a total of 170,000). The 85,000 limit relates to the combined amount in all the eligible depositor s accounts with the bank including their share of any joint account, and not to each separate account. Accounts with Lloyds Bank plc include accounts in all its divisions and under trading names: C&G Savings, Lloyds Bank, Lloyds Bank Agriculture, Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, Lloyds Bank Private Banking and Worldwide Service. An eligible depositor s 85,000 limit relates to a combined amount in all accounts with Lloyds Bank plc.
