The PBIG Accreditation Program identifies financial advisors who demonstrate the technical proficiency necessary to deliver exceptional service exclusively to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The program assesses a team s business model and skill in the strategies and solutions that best address the needs of those clients. Advisors must pass an oral assessment process to become private wealth advisors. Michael joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 with 15 years of experience in the private client advisory group of a large commercial bank. Barron s named him to its 2015 Top 1,200 Financial Advisors list, state-by-state, his fifth consecutive year of recognition. He earned a bachelor s degree in English at the University of Pittsburgh. Michael currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Children s Museum of Pittsburgh and is a member of the Children s Hospital of Pittsburgh s Circle of Care. JENNIFER L. HAGGERTY SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT WEALTH MANAGEMENT PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR Jennifer joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 with nine years of financial and tax advisory experience at a Big Four accounting firm and four years experience in the private client advisory group of a large commercial bank. She draws on this background in her focus on helping clients to preserve their wealth and transfer it to the next generation. Jennifer does not provide tax or legal advice in her role at Merrill Lynch. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor s degree in economics and received a juris doctor degree from The Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University. 11 CHAD IRVING, CFP, CIMA VICE PRESIDENT PRIVATE WEALTH ANALYST BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Chad Irving began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1997 and has been with the firm his entire professional career. He has held a variety of roles at Merrill Lynch, including vice president business and administrative manager, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and premier wealth planner, providing wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and families. Recently, Chad was part of the Greater Atlanta Complex leadership team as the Sales Manager in Buckhead, Georgia. In 2013, Chad returned to Pittsburgh and joined The Duckworth Group. Chad holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA ) designation, and the CFP certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He graduated from The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor s degree in finance. Chad has been very involved with the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an organization that has been the driving force behind the pursuit of a cure. KRISTEN M. WILLIAMS SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST When Kristen joined The Duckworth Group in 2010, she had more than six years of experience offering customized investment solutions to high-net-worth clients and institutions. Her financial services career includes Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and BlackRock where she was responsible for portfolio construction, administration and asset allocation strategies. In Kristen s current role, she continues to focus on the analysis and implementation of portfolios, as well as working with the team to perform manager selection. As a member of the Group s investment committee, she is also responsible for conveying macro research themes derived from Merrill Lynch Investment Management & Guidance to the team, across global markets and asset classes. Kristen graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a bachelor s degree in finance and accounting. MEGHAN M. CLARK PRIVATE WEALTH ANALYST RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Since joining Merrill Lynch in 2009, Meghan has applied her empathetic nature and problem-solving skills to helping clients and their families with the complexities in their life. Meghan has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry spending two of those years helping clients with their home financing needs. Meghan graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor s degree in psychology and has obtained a masters of education in child psychology from Duquesne University. She is also a member of the Children s Hospital of Pittsburgh Cancer and Blood Disorders Auxiliary helping to raise money and awareness for this area of care. She joined Merrill Lynch in 2011 with more than a decade of client relations experience, including five years with investment firms. As a member of The Duckworth Group, she provides fundamental support in all phases of client service. Her responsibilities include processing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts, transferring securities, creating and maintaining client files, obtaining required documentation and answering administrative and operational inquiries. Jennifer earned a bachelor s degree in marketing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
