Conducted longitudinal study of transdiagnostic risk factors in youth psychopathology. Senior Honors Thesis: An Undergraduate Dissemination of the Girls in Transition Program. University of Pennsylvania September May 2010 Supervisor: Jane Gillham, Ph.D. Designed and implemented a study measuring the effectiveness of a CBT intervention, Girls In Transition, developed by Dr. Jane Gillham to increase well-being and reduce symptoms of hopelessness, depression and anxiety in adolescent girls. Conducted extensive literature review, wrote project proposal, contacted and coordinated with schools, recruited participants, led school-based CBT sessions for groups of girls, collected and analyzed data. The Israel Center for the Treatment of Psycho-trauma, Intern Summer 2009 Jerusalem, Israel Supervisors: Neta Bargai, Ph.D. and Carl Hochhauser, Psy.D. Conducted literature reviews and wrote grant proposals for several studies on interventions for Israeli youth with trauma experiences, including a study on the impact of chemotherapy on neurocognitive function in pediatric patients, and a telephone-based psycho-educational intervention for parents during the transition from active oncological treatment to follow-up care.
