1 2012 Miss Arkansas Pageant Diamond State Princess/Prince Parents, Thank you so much for your interest in the Miss Arkansas pageant and for allowing your child to participate in the Diamond State Princess/Prince Program. We are excited about the Miss Arkansas pageant and all the activities we have planned. We will need your help and support during pageant week. Below is a schedule for the week. (Please understand that things can change, we are not only working on the princess schedule, we are also working with the pageant schedule, photographers schedule, Miss Arkansas schedule, etc.). We wanted to make you aware that on Sunday, July 8 th, 2012 at the Bling It On party, the princesses/prince will be making posters to place around Summit Arena to show support of their miss contestant. We will be supplying the basic supplies (markers, glue, etc); however, if you want to bling your poster up more you may do that. Please talk to your child and think ahead about what you want they may want their poster to look like and bring those extra supplies with you. The posters need to be completed at the party. We will be hanging the posters in Summit Arena before Wednesday evening. We also wanted to make you aware that the princesses/prince will be dancing each preliminary night in a trendy outfit (depending on which evening their miss has evening wear). They will be dancing to Spotlight by Shaeleigh and dancing on Saturday with Miss Arkansas Kristen Glover to All the Single Ladies if your child doesn t know the music or words, now would be a good time to down load it off of I tunes. You can find Spotlight by Shaeleigh on You-tube. It would help the choreographer if the girls at least know the words to the song. It makes it much easier to teach a dance.
2 Below is a list of groups to help you know which night your princess/prince will be on stage. Please follow us on facebook ***Miss Arkansas Diamond State Princess*** and we will try to update any new information. Hopefully we will have dances posted in a video, but we will let you know by either or on facebook. The hotel links for area Hot Springs hotels and deals can be found on the Miss Arkansas website. I hope all the necessary information is provided. We want this to be a fun and exciting experience for your daughter/son and yourself. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
