The Board will review the Strategic Plan previously adopted with the Superintendent of Schools and provide an update to the public on the status of the implementation of the plan. The Board will assist and support the Superintendent of Schools so he is successful in his transition as the educational leader of the Freehold Borough Public Schools. A. STATEMENTS 1. Description Action FIS 28-13/14 FIS Yes Offender made fun of victim for acne condition. Offender 1 day detention; victim counseled. FIS 29-13/14 FIS Yes Offender made fun of victim s hair. Offender 2 days detention; victim counseled. FLC 17-13/14 FLC 21 st Century No Offender called victim a weirdo for chasing another student. No HIB-related issue. Offender and victim counseled. FLC 18-13/14 FLC No Offender allegedly slapped victim, then recanted story during investigation. FLC 19-13/14 FLC No Offender called victim a disparaging name after she defriended the victim on instagram. Conflict between students. FLC 20-13/14 FLC No Offenders allegedly called victim names in lunch, offenders deny. Investigation inconclusive. PAE 43-13/14 PAE Yes Offenders called victim disparaging names based on dark skin color. Offender initially denied, then made partial acknowledgement of allegations. PAE 44-13/14 PAE No Victim reported to private physician a threat from an offender to do physical harm some months back. Offender denies, victim could not be specific on date and location. PAE 45-13/14 PAE No Victim told parent that offender has been calling him names all year. Investigation was inconclusive. Offender admitted to name calling but claimed it was in response to name calling by victim. Offender and victim counseled. Offender and victim brought through peer mediation process.
