1 By Accident OEC Edition Fall 2012 As we get ready for the winter, it is time to think about refreshing our first aid training, dusting off our skills before the ski season starts and getting ready another exciting year of winter sports. This version of the By Accident covers the upcoming OEC full courses and the Cycle B Refresher. On the FASP Website are the upcoming dates for the,the Cycle B agenda, and the dates of the full OEC course. For those of us doing the Cycle B here are the dates: October 20, 21 st and November 17 th and 18 th. To register for either weekends, you must contact Shannon. We plan to run smaller scenarios and cover more material. i.e each station may run up to three full scenarios at the same time, depending on numbers. With the rapid review for each scenario please make sure you have viewed the power points and read the relevant chapters. We are going to try and limit each to 24 attendees. For returning patrollers, it is very important that you have done the pre-reading of the appropriate chapters that cover this year s. We are using the OEC 5 th Edition manual.
