2 CLEAN is a non-profit organization with a focus on triple helix partnerships and project development, benefiting our more than 170 cleantech members. CLEAN has smart city solutions and utilization of big data as a strategic focus area, since these solutions hold potential environmental gains and are a future growth area. CLEAN is the leading cleantech-cluster organization in Scandinavia. We are a politically and technologically neutral organization where Danish and International companies, knowledge institutions, and public authorities share their knowledge and create partnerships. We support the trade of green solutions to international cities and regions experiencing challenges on areas of energy and environment. As the organizers of the Danish Pavilion in collaboration with Inno-SE, we want to strengthen the Danish network, and inspire smart city leaders from around the world to collaborate with Denmark on developing smart cities. Facilitator of collaboration of Smart City actors across sectors in Denmark Support capacity building in private and public companies for better utilization of big data. Project example: Big Data Business Academy Support development of new infrastructure and new services for smarter cities. Project example: City Data Market Exchange For Danish Municipalities and Regions, solutions for smarter cities are high on the agenda as they improve services for citizens, often at a lower cost and environmental impact than before. As a triple helix member organization we seek to match this growing demand with our forefront member companies and research institutions and create innovative projects and a strong network with an international outlook. Kasper Dam Mikkelsen, Head of Smart City, CLEAN The Innovation Network for Smart Energy (Inno-SE) creates growth and jobs in the energy technology sector by supporting the development of energy efficient solutions and technologies through cross sector collaboration. Inno-SE is a network for knowledge institutions and companies and supports that research-based knowledge comes into play in SMEs in the energy technology sector. Members of the innovation network benefit from relevant cross sector projects and events. These activities are selected based on member interests, wishes and demands, which ensure that they are an active part of the network. We participate in Barcelona Smart City Expo 2015 because we wish to facilitate collaboration between our Danish network members and major international players in the Smart City area - in particular other international cluster members. The Main focus-areas of Inno-SE are: Integrated Energy systems development of technologies and control methods for smart energy. Intelligent installations for buildings and energy consumption Power Electronics increased focus on the technological contribution to power electronical components and systems.
