8 Telecommunications with Business Designed to address the market need for highly skilled technical managers. Exploits the established and high successful portfolio of telecommunications MSc modules in combination with four specially designed business modules. Modules draw on the experience of leading experts from industry and academia. Aims to provide the management tools and techniques of an MBA programme but with a focus on their application in the telecommunications industry. Aimed at both recent graduates and those with experience who seek accelerated progression to senior management and technical positions. Slide: 7

10 Internships in Industry Exclusive year-long internships with Cisco, HP and others, including startups in Silicon Valley, California and elsewhere. 3-6 month placements in industry for PhD students. 9-month knowledge transfer partnerships (KTP) for doctorate graduates.

11 Academic collaborations Over 100 collaborations with other universities that have led to many peerreviewed, co-authored papers and/or funded research projects. Collaborations with over 20 of the world s top 100 universities (including Harvard University, Princeton University, ETH Zurich, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London). UCL is highly inter-disciplinary and collaborative.
