Esta misión ecnómica está rganizada cnjuntamente cn la Agencia belga para el Cmerci Exterir y cn las Agencias reginales de prmción de Cmerci Exterir e Inversines de Bélgica (AWEX/Wallnia Trade & Investment, Brussels Invest & Exprt y Flanders Investment & Trade). La Agencia belga para el Cmerci Exterir actuará cm crdinadra de la misión. El Ministeri de Relacines Exterires del Rein de Bélgica se encargará de ls aspects plítics y prtclaris del prgrama. Alts representantes del gbiern federal (Su Excelencia Didier Reynders, Viceprimer Ministr, Ministr de Relacines Exterires y Asunts Eurpes y Su Excelencia Pieter De Crem, Secretari Federal de Estad para Cmerci Exterir) participaran en esta misión. Participaran también Su Excelencia Jean- Claude Marcurt, Vicepresidente y Ministr de Ecnmía, Industria, Innvación y Nuevas Tecnlgías del Gbiern de Valnia y Su Excelencia Cécile Jdgne, Secretaria de Estad de Cmerci Exterir e Inversión de la Región de Bruselas- Capital. 109 empresas y universidades belgas participarán en esta misión a Clmbia qué estará enfcada en ls siguientes sectres ecnómics: cnstrucción, energías y tecnlgías mediambientales, agrindustria y minería. Asimism participarán en la misión diverss medis de prensa y televisión de Bélgica. La delegación ficial y cmercial Belga a Clmbia represente 256 persnas. It was created in 1653.The university nw cunts ver students and prfessrs, 5 faculties and 3 schls. Mst faculties are lcated in the main campus in the histric- gegraphical center f Bgtá. Their mtt is "Nva et Vetera" which means the ld and the new. They value traditin but are perfectly aware that they have t keep up with mdern times and plan fr the future. Amng their alumni, at least 28 f Clmbia's presidents. The links between Universidad del Rsari and are recent but strng and varied. Fr instance, this year, a Master thesis in culture management is being c- supervised by a prfessr frm each university. Tday, the tw universities are signing a Memrandum f understanding and a Student Exchange Agreement. The tw institutins will exchange 2 students per year, each way, in different fields and at different levels: - Bachelr and/r Master Degree students in Scilgy, Anthrplgy and Plitical Science; - Master degree students in Culture Management. That agreement was initiated by prfessrs f Turism Management and resulted in many cllabratin activities between researchers and teachers in the field. Nevertheless, students culd nt benefit frm it. This new student mbility agreement aims at exchanging students between the tw universities in the field f Turism Science and Turism Management. It will reinfrce the strng existing links between Universidad del Atlántic and. 5. UNIVERSIDAD EL BOSQUE Mrs María Clara RANGEL GALVIS, Vicerrectra Académica f the Universidad El Bsque Mr. Didier VIVIERS, Rectr f the - Université libre de Bruxelles The cllabratin between Universidad El Bsque and the in the field f Biethics dates back in the late 1990s, when members f the Center fr Interdisciplinary Research in Biethics (CRIB) visited Universidad El Bsque several times and participated in seminars and cnferences. This cllabratin has played a key rle in the setting up f the Master and Ph.D. degrees in Biethics at the Universidad El Bsque, in a pluralist, secular, prgressive spirit. Bth Master and Ph.D. in Biethics (there are nly 2 r 3 such Ph.D. prgrams in Latin America) are under the supervisin f Prf. Jaime Escbar Triana (medical dctr, philspher and frmer Rectr). ULg UNIVERSIDAD DE SANTANDER Mr. Jaime de Jesús RESTREPO CUARTAS, rectr f the Universidad de Santander Mr. Eric HAUBRUGE, First Vice- Rectr f ULg- Université de Liège Willing t strengthen scientific and pedaggical cperatin and t prmte mutual knwledge, University f Liège (ULg), and Universidad de Santander (UDES) sign a Memrandum f Understanding as well as a mbility agreement t set up a student exchange prgramme. The subject f these agreements is the setting- up f a scientific and academic cllabratin between ULg and UDES particularly in the field f Ecnmics and Business Management. 6 P age
