1 Do you have the insurance coverage you need? Insurance can give financial protection in case you are hit by unexpected events. These include a serious illness, total and permanent disability (TPD), or death in your family. Term life and whole life are common life insurance products. Term Life Insurance A term life insurance product provides protection for a fixed period of time. During this period, there will be a payout if you pass away, suffer TPD, or get hit with a terminal illness that will likely lead to death. They are cheaper than whole life products but do not pay any cash if you cancel the policy. Whole Life Insurance A whole life insurance product provides life-long protection. There will be a payout when you pass away, or suffer a terminal illness or TPD. On top of paying for insurance coverage, the premiums are also invested to build up cash value. Free-look period All insurance companies grant a 14-day free look period for life insurance products. It starts from the date you receive your policy document. During this period, you may cancel the policy and the company will refund all your premiums, less medical and other expenses that it has incurred. By registering or taking part in this contest, all persons participating herein ( participants ) agree to be bound by these Quiz Terms and Conditions. 2. The award of prizes shall be subject to verification to the full satisfaction of MoneySENSE. Participants who do not comply with the Quiz Terms and Conditions shall be disqualified. 14. MoneySENSE may, in its sole discretion, modify these Quiz Terms and Conditions, substitute prizes or cancel the quiz, without prior notice to any person. MoneySENSE s decision on all matters relating to this draw will be final, binding and conclusive on all participants, and no correspondence will be entertained. 15. Where prizes contain a specified validity period during which it should be utilised, no requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained. Prizes which remain unclaimed by any participants for two (2) months after the date of the notification letter shall be conclusively forfeited by such participants, and such forfeited prize shall be dealt with at MoneySENSE discretion with applicable laws. 16. To the extent permitted by law, each participant and any person acting on his or her behalf agree that MoneySENSE and MAS shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, injury, death, prizes, and shall indemnify MoneySENSE and MAS from any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred in connection therewith. 17. These Quiz Terms and Conditions are governed by Singapore law, and each participant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
