BACKGROUD FORMATO: The Commission, under the Postsecondary Authorization Act, has the power and duty to act upon applications for authorization to operate an educational institution in the tate of Tennessee. For the institutions listed below, applications have been reviewed, site visits have been performed, and all necessary documentation and bonds have been secured. The Committee on Postsecondary ducational nstitutions met on January 8, 2004, and endorsed staff recommendations for Temporary Authorization of the following institutions. W TTUTO A. American Baptist College Chattanooga T American Baptist College Chattanooga is located at 1814 outh Beech treet in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The school is a not-for-profit corporation and is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). The school will offer two programs. Theology Program 4608 contact hours (18-months) Tuition for $252 Christian Training 5632 contact hours (24-months) Tuition for $264 The school participates in Title V funding; however, these programs are not eligible for Title V funding. B. American Baptist College Jackson T American Baptist College Jackson is located at 278 Preston treet in Jackson, Tennessee. The school is a not-for-profit corporation and is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). The school will offer two programs. 1

2 Theology Program 4608 contact hours (18-months) Tuition for $252 Christian Training 5632 contact hours (24-months) Tuition for $264 The school participates in Title V funding; however, these programs are not eligible for Title V funding. The school is a not-for-profit corporation and is accredited by the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). The school will offer two programs. 3 . Drive-Train (change of ownership) Jackson T Change of Ownership: Drive Train is located at 119.L. Morgan Drive in Jackson, Tennessee. The institution is a limited liability corporation that has been authorized by THC since February The institution was sold on October 1, 2003 to Richard Hallenbeck, Jeffrey Hardin, and William Rawls. The school will offer one program already approved by THC: Tractor Trailer Training The school does not participate in Title V funding programs.
