Benefits Program Advantages Growing Savings: Estimated Health & Dental savings for LDCA members range from 10-20% Lower Fees: Growing savings are a direct result of Stevenson & Hunt s volume purchasing power, the economies of scale through the program, low administrative fees, and commissions, which are sustainable year after year and negotiated for all participating LDCA members. Higher Target Loss Ratios: Low administrative fees and commissions increase the Target Loss Ratio (TLR) for Health & Dental care benefits. The TLR is the percentage of every dollar the carrier expects to pay out in the form of claims. The difference between the TLR and 100% represents the carrier s expenses for managing the program. Rate Guarantees: For experience-rated benefits Short Term Disability (STD), Health and/or Dental, the rate guarantee is 16 months. For pooled benefits Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Dependent Life, and/or Long Term Disability (LTD), the rate guarantee is 28 months. Human Resource (HR) Support Services: Free online HR support for business providing access to templates, legislative alerts, as well as information for employers to remain compliant with Employment Standards and other HR related legislation. This HR support will also reduce employer s administrative, liability exposure, and labour costs.
