1 Online learning center "Netology Group" raised $2.1 million investment under the syndicated transaction from Buran Venture Capital and InVenture Partners Moscow, The company "Netology Group" announced attracting 2.1 million dollars during the next round of investment. The lead investor in this syndicated transaction was venture capital fund Buran Venture Capital. The deal supported was also supported by the investor InVenture Partners. "Netology group" - one of the largest players in online education in Russia as in the spectrum of educational products, and the volume of business. The company develops methods, content and software systems in the field of online learning. "Netology Group" was formed in September 2014 by the merger of two educational platforms - "Foxford" (school education: preparing for the exam, GIA, school Olympics) and "Netologya" (vocational training marketing, management and other business skills). The funds raised will be spent on the promotion of existing services, new product development and further improvement of the process of the online platform.
2 "Netology group" - Russia's only example of a model of complete educational cycle. "Foxford" is aimed at an audience of pupils and prepares them for entering universities. In the future, "Netology" helps students to acquire practical skills, learn the desired profession and build a career. On average outcomes for students in "Foxford" in the exams were 27 points higher than that of their peers. Last year, after finishing Foxford courses one in five went to MIPT and every tenth went to Math Department, Department of Physics and Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University. "Netologya" already taught about 11 thousand students from 479 cities in Russia and CIS countries. Users are offered 7 intensive training programs popular online professions and more than 80 courses on the subscription model, allowing to improve skills in the field of internet marketing, business management and personal effectiveness. The product line is constantly expanding. According to available data, the total tutoring market is estimated at billion rubles, while the volume of a segment of corporate entities exceed 70 billion rubles.
