In addition to modern languages, the high school offers advanced studies in Latin. Complementing this full college-preparatory academic program are Learning in the Community activities and specialized enrichment seminars which include our new Online Academy. To maintain academic excellence, curriculum development in Mountain Lakes Public Schools (K-12) remains a continuous process. The high school also includes an academic program that offers a wide variety of services for hearing impaired students. Through this program, classes in sign language and deaf awareness have been added to Mountain Lakes curriculum. Also, students with special educational needs are offered foundation courses in the major academic areas and supportive instruction in learning and study skills.
