Every month, except December, Pub Charity donations are awarded to organisations in communities throughout New Zealand. Since the beginning of its financial year in October 2013, Pub Charity has distributed 1087 donations amounting to $5,814, South Canterbury Hospice is most grateful to Pub Charity for the recent grant of $80,000 towards the operating of our community owned Hospice. This grant helps alleviate the high level of funding required each year to maintain our essential services in proving the very best in Palliative Care for those with a terminal illness and at the same time giving support to their families.
