The Cootharinga Charity Race Day is held on Cox Plate Day (Saturday 26 October) with our unique Bonanza Tipping Competition and chance to win a Quintrex Boat Package! This is a day full of fun, fashionistic flare and fine food. 6 The Fun of the Day BONANZA TIPPING COMPETITION Cootharinga North Queensland Our Charity Race Day is an innovative fundraising event, with a focus on networking between successful and community minded businesses. It features a unique bonanza tipping competition where company teams of 4 people compete against other teams, tipping on the local races and Melbourne s Tatts Cox Plate. When tipping on individual races, each place, quinella and trifecta receive points. The team with the highest points at the end of the day wins the major prize of a Quintrex Boat Package. The team with the highest points from each race, wins a fabulous prize for each team member including 4 x incredible Ipads! GRAND MARQUEE The event will be held in a superbly appointed and air conditioned grand marquee. Tables of 3 corporate teams will allow for socialising and networking opportunities. Jockeys will collect each teams tips before every race to enable guests to be pampered and treated to a day of luxury and unique entertainment. It is requested that race wear be worn as there will be prizes for Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Female. CATERING Guests will be served a fine dining three course luncheon this will include all beverages, consisting of superb quality still and sparkling wines and premium beer, entrée, main meal and dessert. AUDIO VISUAL For relaxed and easy viewing of the horse races and opportunity to follow the progress of the Bonanza Tipping Competition, large audio visual screens will be located around the marquee for the convenience of guests Cootharinga Charity Race Day 6
