6 Page 6 of 7 IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS 1. The order in which the candidates are seated will be forwarded to the Examiner; should a candidate be discovered to have copied from another, he/she will be expelled from the Examination as well as the candidate from whom he/she copied, If there is reason to suppose that the copying was conveyed to the later. 2. No Candidate, without special permission of the officer-in-charge shall leave his/her seat or the examination room till the end of the Examination. No candidate shall speak without permission, if it be necessary for the candidate to communicate with superintendent he/she shall stand up in his/her place and the officer, in-charge will see to his/her request. 3. Before beginning his/her answers, each candidate shall write on the title page of his/her answerbook the following viz, the subject, the number of the paper and his/her Roll No. when the time allowed has expired the answer-book must be delivered to the Superintendent, even though the candidate may not have answered any parts of the paper. 4. No candidate shall give any mark of identification such as Name, name of College or School / Centre of Examination in his/her answer-book except at specified places. 5. All candidates including females must keep with them the National Identity Card in the Examination Hall and to be shown when desired by the Centre Superintendent of University authorities. 6. 7 Page 7 of 7 INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN IMPORTANT COLUMNS IN THE EXAMINATION FORM Quote Examination form no. Permanent District shown in the Examination form, subjects offered by him/her, Name of Centre, University. Fee Receipt No. and Date, Father s Name in all correspondence before the receipt of Roll No. afterwards, Roll No. will be your reference Number. Any correction made in the form must be initialed by the candidate or by the officer attesting the form. Column No. 5 at Page 3 (Religion) state whether Muslim, Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi, Christina, or other No superfluous words should be added. Column No. 7 at Page 3 (Father s occupation) state briefly whether Agriculturist, or in Service or Business or Retired or Dead. (An Extra Special fee of Rs. 2000/- shall be charged from candidates appearing from outside the territory jurisdiction of Balochistan University.) GENERAL RULES FOR GUIDANCE OF CANDIDATES Note: - M.A / M.Sc. Examination is held in Quetta only. 1. Examination Centre of late fee candidates: In case of candidate submitting the examination form with late fee, the University reserves the right of allotting any Centre to such candidates other, than that asked for by them in their Examination forms. 2. Fee for a duplicate copy of Roll Number: A candidate who has lost his/her Roll Number Slip before the commencement of the Examination, can apply for a duplicate copy of the same through a well-known office. Fee for a duplicate copy of the Roll Number is Rs. 75/- only. 3. Refund of fee: Examination fee once paid shall not be refunded unless the candidate is declared ineligible and his admission to examination has been refused by the University Officer or the candidate dies before the commencement of Examination. All applications for refund of fee should be made in the month of the same year on a prescribed form obtainable from this office admission is refused and should also state the University fee receipt number. Claim for refund of fee shall be entertained only if it is made within one year from the date of commencement of Examination. 4. Despatch Roll Number: Roll Number slips and date-sheet will be sent by post at least 15 days before the commencement of the Examination. If however, a candidate will does not receive his/her Roll Number slip at least 07 days before the commencement of Examination, he/she should at once send a Registered letter giving the reference of his/her University fee receipt number, permanent district shown in the examination form, examination form number, subject offered, name of Centre and father s name should also be stated. 5. Intimation of Result: Every candidate will be informed of his/her result within 15 days after the publication of the result on the address given by him/her for dispatch of Result card. Any change in address must be communicated to this office not later than 20 days before the commencement of the Examination, so that intimation regarding result may not go astray. Telegraphic intimation regarding results is not communicated by the office. 6. Re-counting of marks in the answer book etc:- The Controller of Examination may, on receipt of an application to the prescribed form accompanied by a fee of Rs. 500/- per subject (Paper A & B) satisfied himself regarding the marking of answer-books or completion of the result of candidate. Such applications would be entertained only within 40 days from the date of declaration of the result. The office will dispose them off within 15 days from the date of their receipt. 7. Registration Card: To get registration card from the Registration Branch is compulsory for all candidates, and they must get their Registration Card from Registration Brach before submitting their Examination Forms. Note: - Candidates once Registered shall not apply for Registration again. 8. Double Course: Students of Double-course are not allowed to appear in the Examination except the double-course of M.A & L.L.B and candidates shall be responsible for any consequences if they deliberately submits Examination forms for double-course. 9. Incomplete Examination Forms shall not be accepted IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS & CONDITIONS / ELIGIBILITY REGARD M.A (ECONOMICS, HISTROY, POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATION RELATIONS) 1. M.A. Economics: Private candidates who are appearing in M.A Economics exam must be B.A with Economics & Mathematics, or Statistics or B.Sc with same condition or already M.A with same condition. 2. M.A. History: Private candidates who are appearing in M.A History must be B.A with History as an elective subject are eligible for examination. 3. M.A. Political Science: Private candidates who are appearing in M.A Political Science must be B.A with Political Science as an elective subject are eligible for examination. 4. M.A. International Relation: Private candidates who are appearing in M.A. International Relations must be B.A with Political Science or History or Economics as an elective subject are eligible for examination.
