1 Net AN035 Integating Net with an intude alam system Oveview Net can monito whethe the intude alam is set o uet If the alam is set, Net will limit access to valid uses who ae also authoised to uet the alam All othe uses will be denied access, egadless of thei nomal access level Uses can be pevented fom gaining access though othe selected doos (eg back doo) by also connecting these ACU's to an alam status pai While allowing the fist access by an authoised use, Net will send a signal to uet the alam automatically If this is successful the doo is unlocked and the system esumes nomal opeation using standad access levels fo all uses Any system integated with Net Enty will also have the ability to set and uet the intude alam using the poximity eade and/o the keypad of the Net Enty panel using the configuatio below Configuing Net to allow alam integation To configue alam patitio see: AN3 - Integating with Multi Zone Intude / Texecom patitio < > Net softwae befoe v4 equies the Net alam integation softwae check box to be ticked in the Featues tab of the Net eve Configuation Utility Uetting the alam When an authoised use pesents thei token to the IN eade: The eade will flash the Ambe and Red LED's to indicate that the alam is The ACU will ty to Uet the alam via its contacts When the alam is confimed as Uet, the LED will flash and the doo will unlock The eade will now wok as nomal fo all uses until the alam is again Unauthoised uses ae efused enty while the alam emai set

8 Manual alam set/uet - Blocking unauthoised access Net AN035 This is used whee the alam panel is iide the building and the owne still wants to use the panel to manually set/ uet the alam This will not be DD43 compliant as a use is allowed into the building while the alam is still set To allow an authoised use access to the building, we need to tempoaily tell the ACU that the alam status is 'uet' This allows thei token to unlock the oute doo This is done by ceating an 'uet' status signal by mea of the elay which will mimic the 'uet' signal This gives the use access to the building to uet the alam manually which then povides the 'tue' uet signal fo the ACU Net will show multiple set/uet events if the ACU elay etu befoe the alam has been manually uet at the panel The wiing of the elay will depend on the type of status uet signal povided by the panel ( open o closed cicuit ) The ACU elay must simulate the signal by making o beaking this status pai Use when closed pai indicates uet C aution: Fo V DC eades onl y 0 eve Link 00 0/00 Ethenet ceen o spae coes fom data Wht/Gn Wht/Ong Oange P U/Tampe C ontac t E xit Butto n R elay -4V contol unit (optional) 8
