RECOGNITION OF OF THE THE QUALIFICATION The The Certificate in in Management and and its its papers are are eligible for for Equivalent Full-Time Student (EFTS) funding. As As this this course is is recognised for for funding purposes, the the usual usual conditions for for student allowances and and loans loans apply. Previous study study or or qualifications may may entitle students to to credit for for one one or more more papers. Applications should be be made made on on the the credit transfer form form available from from the the NZIM NZIM website. Students may may under special circumstances claim claim credit for for papers through an an option which requires them them only only to to complete the the appropriate assessment process for for the the paper. The The course is is specifically to to meet meet the the language and and cultural needs of of people with with English as as a a second language seeking work work in in New New Zealand or or students wishing to to move move to to diploma study. The The programme consolidates and and contextualises the the language skills skills students generally require for for entry entry to to study study in in New New Zealand. The The Certificate provides a a six-month enriched environment of of language and and culture, with with a focus a focus on on work work processes and and management. Students will will be be able able to to recognise and and adapt adapt to to the the culture (including legislation) of of the the New New Zealand workplace and and to to use use language associated with with New New Zealand management practices.
