The Self-Study Multimedia products in this brochure are only certified for credit through June 30, All CD orders, however, must be received by June 23, NO CLE CREDIT OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR COURSES NOT COMPLETED BY JUNE 30TH. If you attended the live presentation of the program you are not permitted to claim credit for watching or listening to an audiovisual replay of that CLE presentation through these multimedia products. High-speed internet access is required to stream video. For customers with low-speed dial-up or lowspeed DSL, we recommend that audio CDs be purchased. User instructions and technical specification information are provided upon purchase. 10 PUBLICATIONS Since 1987, UK/CLE has produced a series of Practice Handbooks and Monographs. Each Practice Handbook is an extensively referenced, fully indexed practice guide consisting of separately authored chapters, allowing for the comprehensive coverage of a distinct body of law. Each Monograph is a concisely written practice guide, often prepared by a single author, designed to cover a topic of narrower scope than the Handbooks. They are convenient references on topics often not treated elsewhere. In 1995, UK/CLE began publication of its highly popular Compendium Series. Each Compendium volume gathers several hundred pages of forms, charts, statistical data, case summaries or other reference material useful in all aspects of drafting, case evaluation, case management, and litigation. As of 2008, UK/CLE began the task of converting its full publications catalog into a searchable, interactive electronic CD format. 11 UK/CLE provides a variety of instructional programs. These range from half-day seminars and workshops in selected areas to broader-topic conferences and institutes extending over a two or three day period. While most programs are conducted at the College of Law in Lexington, UK/CLE has a long-standing commitment to statewide service. Annual and biennial programs have established a core curriculum in several major practice areas. Five courses are offered every year and ten courses are offered every other year providing periodic instruction, substantive updates and skills training for members of the bar.
