6 Business Administration Human Resources Management Option Human Resources Management is a concentration under the curriculum title of Business Administration. This program is designed to meet the demands of business and service agencies. The objective is the development of generalists and specialists in the administration, training, and management of human resources. Graduates of this program will have a sound business education base for lifelong learning. Students will be prepared for employment opportunities in personnel, training, and other human resources development areas. A certificate in Human Resources Management can also be earned online. Admission to teacher licensure programs requires satisfactory scores on PRAXIS I and II. The Medical Transcription curriculum prepares individuals to become medical language specialists who interpret and transcribe dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. Graduates should qualify for employment in hospitals, medical clinics, doctors offices, private transcription businesses, research facilities, insurance companies, and publishing companies. After acquiring work experience, individuals can apply to the American Association for Medical Transcription to become Certified Medical Transcriptionists. 13

18 Web Technologies TECHNICAL Associate of Applied Science The Web Technologies curriculum prepares graduates for careers in the information technology arena using computers and distributed computing to disseminate and collect information via the web. This program is offered completely online.
