5 Connectus with G-Scribe Install a Connectus Server These steps describe how to install your Connectus server. Connectus servers consist of both a server and a console. The server is the hub of your Connectus network. It integrates your remote Connectus console, your file server, your SQL database, and your G-Scribe system. The console is the user interface which allows a Connectus administrator to control the server and all the network components. Later in this guide you will set up a remote console on another machine which will be the primary user interface with the server. Connectus System Specifications The Connectus server must be a dedicated system which does not have any other Nexio components installed. To build a dedicated Connectus system which contains the SQL Server data storage and content file server, please ensure that the system meets the supported system requirements.
