2 CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION Admission to the Michigan State University (MSU) Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT) is based on academic preparation and the availability of space in the desired academic program. Nonacademic factors such as prior experience, organizational activities, references, and citizenship record may be considered in an admission decision. In some cases, students may be invited to campus for an interview. APPLICATION GUIDELINES Application Deadlines The IAT uses rolling admissions with each program coordinator making the admission decision. Admission decisions are typically made within four weeks of all admission materials being received. High school seniors are encouraged to apply September-December of their senior year. Transfer students should apply six months prior to semester of enrollment. Application Fees The nonrefundable application fee is $50 for all applicants. Application fee payments can be made via check or money order payable to Michigan State University. Do not send cash.
