19 Universal Resources Advertisements All network resources represented by advertisements Language-neutral XML documents Can be sub-typed for application specific advertisements Peers cache, publish, and exchange advertisements Each advertisement is published with a lifetime (time-to-live) Enable deletion of obsolete advertisements without requiring centralized control 19
