Newark Wireless Community Broadband Connection Information Pack November 12 th
Wireless Broadband Community Connection Offer In order to qualify for the Community Connection Offer we have 2 basic pre-requisites to meet. 1. We need to meet a 10 subscriber minimum commitment 2. We need to locate a suitable high point to act as the village Access Point The owner of the property we use as the Access Point (the Bridge Holder - BH) will receive free installation and free service at 10Mbps. The BH receives free internet for the duration that we are providing a service to the village from their property. Installation costs for standard home users within the village. For all the customers that register interest before the installation of the access point, or book for an installation within 1 month of the Access Points installation, we will honour a discounted introductory installation price. This price is detailed below; All prices are exclusive of vat Hardware Price Wireless CPE Router IP Address Options Private IP Free Public Dynamic IP 5 Public Static IP 10 Price (Per Month) Download / Upload speed Monthly subscription charge 2.5Mbps / 512Kbps Mbps / 512Kbps Mbps / 1Mbps Mbps / 1Mbps Once the Access Point has been installed and running for 1 month, we will revert to our standard installation prices which are as follows.
Standard Installation (applicable once the service has been running for 1 month) We have two price structures, subsidised pricing and full price. The subsidised price grants you a cheaper install cost but higher ongoing costs. The full price costs more for the install but has much lower ongoing costs. All prices are +vat Hardware Subsidised Full Price Wireless CPE Router IP Address Options Full Price (Per Month) Private IP Free Public Dynamic IP 5 Public Static IP 10 Download / Upload speed Subsidised Full Price 2.5Mbps / 512Kbps Mbps / 512Kbps Mbps / 1Mbps Mbps / 1Mbps This service requires a router, unfortunately you cannot use a standard BT router. The router in question must support an Ethernet WAN port. The router we provide is provided as a managed service. This means we will be responsible for programming the router and its general management. Additionally this helps us provide advanced support and fault diagnostics / resolution. Should you wish, you may provide your own router, however, in this scenario we will only be responsible for fault diagnostics up to the Ethernet cable the router plugs into. Additionally, if you require our engineers to install a router you purchase separately, we charge a 1 off 25+vat for this service. There are three IP address options available with our service. When choosing the IP Address Option that best suits your requirements it is important to note the basic difference between the options. Private IP This means that your connection is not directly exposed to the internet. It has no impact on day to day browsing and gaming and offers an extra layer of security. Public Dynamic IP This means that your connection is directly exposed to the internet, however the address will change at frequent intervals. This allows you to use additional services such as dynamic DNS. It is great for more advanced users who have services behind their home routers which they need to access from the outside world such as NAS or CCTV. Static Public IP This means that your connection is directly exposed to the internet, and the IP address will not change. This is often a requirement for users who utilize more advanced services such as mail servers which need to be accessed from the outside world.
Additional Points We currently have no usage limits on our service. Our contract period is a 1month rolling contract. Should you wish to terminate your service, we require only 1 month s written notice. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. This guarantee states that should we not deliver the service agreed within the first 30 days, you may request us to remove our equipment and request a full refund. We offer up to 5 addresses with each service. Our standard home SLA is 5days, typically we address faults within hours. All our support is based in local offices and provided by experienced engineers. All our services are monitored 24*7*365 and historical data is available to discover and resolve ongoing issues.
The Vonage Deal! ( vat towards your install costs) We have recently completed an agreement with Vonage, one of the largest VOIP providers in Europe. Vonage have agreed to contribute vat towards any installation for Newark Wireless broadband when a Vonage telephone line is taken alongside the broadband service. Vonage provide telephone lines which do not require a traditional land line, they instead use your internet connection. They work in exactly the same way as your traditional BT handset, and they can even transfer your existing number to your new line. Vonage standard line rental is only 8/month which is much cheaper than the typical line rental with the major UK providers, additionally they have no minimum contract period. The only requirement to qualify for The Vonage Deal is that you must keep the Vonage service for at least 6 months. If you would like to take a Vonage line please sign up for the service with this link or by calling To ensure we issue your payment please don t forget to let us know by (technical@jhcs.com) that you have taken The Vonage Deal along with our service. Our Suggested Package This package includes Home Phone and Broadband Connection. Although the full installation is payable on the day, Vonage will provide the cashback after 6 months service. Service Initial Cost Monthly Cost Community Connection Offer vat The Vonage Deal Home Phone 15+vat 6.67+vat Router vat 7.5Mbps Broadband vat Vonage Deal Cashback (6months) Total to Pay on install day vat vat

At our head office they provide and maintain all our servers, and at our remote site they provide a high speed broadband connection where BT cannot supply anything over 1Mbps, and they provide it cheaper than BT! All round fantastic company, great support and highly recommended! ============ Steve Wilson IT & Production Director Newark Advertiser Service Broadband Leased Line (2 sites) JHCS wireless has proven to be an extremely reliable and very competitive alternative to our traditional cable based ISP, I have no reservations in recommending their service. ============ Martin Wood EHS Data Ltd Service Wireless Broadband / IT Service We were previously stuck with a slow unreliable connection from BT in our business park. JHCS were able to connect us up with their wireless service and provide us a much increased connection speed, both download and upload.
