1 Wallingford Public Schools - HIGH SCHOOL COURSE OUTLINE Course Title: Advanced Placement European History Course Number: 3452 Department: Social Studies Grade(s): 11 & 12 Level(s): Advanced Placement Credit: 1 Course Description Including the study of European history since 1450, this course introduces students to cultural, economic, political, and social developments that played a fundamental role in shaping the world in which they live today. This knowledge provides students with the context for understanding the development of contemporary institutions, the role of continuity and change in present-day society and politics, and the evolution of current forms of artistic expression and intellectual discourse.
