Maintained daily pipeline and reports One of the original founders of Northern Continent Capital Funds, Ltd and one of the first four mortgage brokers representing "Sunkist", (American Savings and Loan), in the Chicago market. Sunkist made mortgage history when they introduced 12.0% interest rates while the rest of the market was at 16.0%. NCCF was their 1 st Processing Broker because they, Sunkist, couldn t process the loans fast enough. NCCF was the 1 st processing broker in the state of Illinois. Then came; 1. MIDCO Mortgage 2. Great Lakes Mortgage 3. First Western Mortgage We were the first four processing brokers in the mortgage business.
5 2. Mortgage Banker Northern Continent Capital Funds, Ltd. then became a Mortgage Banker and funded over $100 million dollars in loans through its warehousing lines of credit. 3. Developed First Complete Software Package that Worked (Written up in National Mortgage Broker Magazine) In 1984, Northern Continent started writing a software program which helped revolutionize the mortgage industry. In 1985, the Northern Continent Capital Funds chief programmer went to work for Citicorp, and was assigned to a project called "Mortgage Power." The second generation of software which NCCF wrote in 1984 in UNIX and in the C language was unrivaled in the mortgage industry in spite of the "rush to write mortgage software". It allowed the Realtors to get an Instant Loan Approval from their terminals. One of Northern Continent Capital's clients spent over $125,000 for the equipment to utilize the software concept. Today, similar equipment would cost about $5, (See Attached Article)
