Malgorzata Micinska COMMENTS: "The last things which is gonna to be different is the reform of education" - sentences like this keep language in band 2. It should be "The last thing which is going to be different will concern the reform of education". The candidate has addressed content in a rather flimsy way - talking about the director no longer being alive and changes to the appearance of the school, rather than discussing more serious conceptual concerns. Organisation is satisfactory but paragraphs could be more developed. Good luck in the exam! 4. Maja Szczechovicz COMMENTS: "Because computer become better and more ecologic it seems unkind but less paper means less wood" - meaning is obscured by poor sentence structure. Organisation is in need of attention because there is a lack of cohesion and paragraphs are not well developed. Range of vocabulary and structures is limited. In order to ensure sentences are structured so as to enhance, rather than obscure, meaning the candidate needs to read more English, so as to get a better idea of word order. Good luck in the exam! 5. Damien Habiera COMMENTS: Meaning is obscured by poor sentence structure. It is rather difficult to understand the answer. Legibility is rather poor and there is some irrelevancy. Organisation is in need of attention because there is a lack of cohesion and paragraphs are not well developed. Range of vocabulary and structures is limited. In order to ensure sentences are structured so as to enhance, rather than obscure, meaning the candidate needs to read more English, so as to get a better idea of word order. Good luck in the exam!

Piotr Szymczak COMMENTS: The candidate has addressed the necessary content and has attempted to develop content so as to inform the reader. Some interesting points are made and the candidate has a novel and rather forthright way od tackling concepts. However, it is not natural written English for the entire answer to be in upper case. There also needs to be a more discernible beginning, middle and end to the essay. There needs to be a lot more cohesion for the higher bands. Organisation just slips into band 4 because the candidate uses a wide range of cohesive devices and linking words and expressions to craft a coherent essay.
