1 LEASED LINE PROCESS Thank you Thank you for your fibre Ethernet connectivity order on behalf of the team at 360 Solutions. Be assured we really appreciate your custom. This document is designed to help you understand what happens between now and your circuit going live. What are the main steps to go live? QUOTE GENERATED PLACE VALIDATED PLACED WITH SUPPLIER SITE SURVEY ECC s (Excess Construction Charges) CDD s (Customer Delivery Date) CIRCUIT DELIVERY HAND- OVER
2 LEASED LINE PROCESS What are the main steps to go live? Lets take a look at what happens at each stage... VALIDATION Your order is handed over to a project manager within our provisioning team who ll check all relevant details including:- Whether your new service is to replace an existing service that we provide The installation address Ensure we have local contacts to support us through the installation process 1-3 s If you are a new customer, you ll be supplied with a new customer creation form. Please complete this accurately. This will give us all the information we need to ensure that your account is administered correctly. PLACED WITH SUPPLIER Having validated your order installation and pricing details we ll place your order on our chosen carrier The carrier will assisgn a dedicated Delivery co-ordinator and confirm acceptance of the order Your order will be transferred into the delivery phase 1 Assistance in clarifying any administration queries
3 LEASED LINE PROCESS SITE SURVEY We ll be provided with a site survey date which will take place days following placement of the order on our supplier We ll inform you of the survey date The site survey will determine any additional infrastructure and / or construction work required in order to deliver the service Your installation will be categorised as per the table below. Should your installation fall into category 2-4 excess construction charges may apply in order to progress your order. 1 Ensure access and staff availability for appointed survey date Help in determining where the service is to be installed and how many IP addresses will be required plus any other information that is relevant in making sure your circuit is commissioned correctly Installation Categories Category Cat 1 Cat 2 Cat 3 Cat 4 Description 35 WD. Dependent on blown fibre and splicing activities 35 to 55 WD. CAT 1 with additional cabling and fibre tubing activities 55+WD. Category 2 together with provision of additional fibre service from the exchange 55+WD. Category 2 possibly with CAT 3. Dependent on core cabling between exchanges ECC s Upon receipt of an excess construction charge notice from our supplier, we ll notify you of what work is required and the corresponding charge to deliver the service. We ll try and work with you to minimise the initial charges incurred to deliver the service. 3 s A decision on whether to accept the proposed charges and move ahead with the order Assistance in providing contacts for landlords as required
4 LEASED LINE PROCESS CDD We ll provide you with an expected delivery date in order that you can begin planning for the activation of your new service. 1 Acknowledgement of receipt of our proposed customer delivery date CIRCUIT DELIVERY The service delivery phase includes:- Rod and rope test to identify proposed router is available Civils work permission request for performing construction work Fibre installation appointment 1 Fit and test appointment Router build and shipment 10 s Support in providing access and resources to our installation engineers to assist us in delivering the service to you. SERVICE HANDOVER We ll receive a handover of the service from the carrier following a period of monitoring Our partner will configure core network and performance monitoring alerts At this point, we will hand the services over to you. Billing will commence for the service 30 s Support in providing access as requirement Acknowledgement of the activation of the service
