Active lines of inquiry related to these analyses include the study of sensitivity and responsivity to environmental cues of punishment and reward as critical developmental processes, evaluation of variables which hinder the implementation and generalizability of child and parent training interventions, outcome evaluation of parent and therapist training approaches, the utility of functional analysis when applied to a variety of clinical phenomena, and examination of the relative effectiveness of behavioral intervention strategies.
