One year to one and a half years Counselling at the university: International Office TU Ilmenau, International Office des IfMK, Examination Office Research on host country and host university Research on existing exchange programs RECOMMENDATION: Consult the website of the Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) for advice on travelling and the host country Meet with students who have already been abroad Use internet communities on student exchanges. Organizing and Financing Your Stay Abroad Selecting Courses Inform yourself about the courses offered at your host university (website, international office of your host university) Submit your learning agreement: Agreement on the courses at the host university Select courses that amount to 25 to 30 ECTS Bachelor or master thesis can also be written in an exchange term Seite 40
