You have the option to store individual items or to select one of our package deals. There is an 8-item package, as well as options for reserving a 5ftx5ft or 5ftx10ft space with no item limit. The storage options and prices are detailed on this page: Don t worry, you can always modify your reservation on your account page. You will be charged for the most price-efficient way to group your items, guaranteeing the lowest price possible. Q. How much stuff can I fit in the spaces? A. We get asked that a lot, and the honest answer is it varies. Students have all types of different size things in their dorms. We have added photos to the pricing page to give you a rough guide on how most students store their items. Some students just store all boxes, some store all artwork, it s a variety of things. What is an item? A. We consider a basic item to be anything dorm room related. This can be a box, tub, mirror, bike, mini-fridge etc. Regular pieces of furniture such as a

2 mattress or futon are considered large items. Extra large boxes such as wardrobe boxes would also be considered large items. Q. How high are items stacked? A. We are careful to stack your items at a safe height, around 5-6 feet. This ensures we maximize your space and that none of your items will be damaged during storage. We are careful to make sure heavier items are on the bottom. Q. Do I have insurance on my things? A. Absolutely. All of our options include $300 of insurance, and you can increase it to $600 on the signup form. We insure your things against the following: Damage caused by us, loss, and improper handling. We do not insure the following: Failure to label items, improper packing (ie glass plates in a box with no bubble wrap), unprotected items (ie unboxed artwork/unprotected Electronics with no packing etc). We pride ourselves on returning all our customers goods in the same condition they were given to us. However, make sure you do your part and pack properly for storage of your items. Please read your terms and conditions when you signup for more about our insurance requirements. Q. Can I access my items? A. Yes you can. We are located 10 minutes from campus. If you need to get to your items, please call us at at least 24 hours in advance, and we will meet you at our warehouse. Q. What can I not store? A. Please do not store perishable food, detergents, liquids (other than related to artwork) and items in plastic trash bags. We reserve the right to refuse these items during time of pickup. Vouchers: Q. What is a voucher? A. Vouchers are given out through a lottery by Brown, not by us. They are basically a $60 gift card you can use for any and all of our services or supplies throughout the year. Q. Can I combine vouchers with a friend?

3 A. Yes you can. During signup you can add friends and have the ability to include their vouchers during signup. Q. What can I use the voucher on? A. Any service we offer or packing supplies. Q. What do I need to use my voucher? A. This year all vouchers are electronic. If you receive one, all you have to do is present your Brown ID and we will look up your information in real time. You do not have to present any physical voucher; they all will be electronically linked to your Brown student . This is important - when signing up please make sure you use your Brown student ! Sign up: Q. How do I sign up? A. All students must sign up online at at least 72 hours before their desired storage date. Everything you need to do is online: signup, payments, labels, inventory ETC. We have tried to make this process as easy as possible so when moving day comes you have 99% of what you need to do already complete. You can always modify and change your reservations on your account page. SIGN UP EARLY TO GET THE LOWEST PRICE! Q. What happens if I forget to sign up online? A. Our staff will have the ability to take your items in real time at the stations. A $50 same day fee will be applied. Please sign up online in advance. Q. Can I sign up over the phone? A. No. We can help you over the phone, however you must sign up online so all your information gets correctly placed into our database. Q. Can I cancel? A. Yes of course, plans change. Just us and let us know at info@collegestorageri.com Payment: Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

4 A. Storage payments can be paid online at the time of sign up or on your account page. We accept all major credit cards, however they must be US issued. We cannot take international credit cards. During packing supply sales, we take all forms of payment cash, check, vouchers, and credit cards. Q. When do I pay? A. You pay when you sign up, or you can pay later on your account page. You must make a payment before your storage date. Please note: we have disabled payment until vouchers have been issued to ensure all students are credited properly. Q. Do I pay monthly or is it all prepaid? A. We require our summer storage to be prepaid. If you need a payment plan please call us at We are glad to help. Pickup/Delivery: Q. What days do you pick up and deliver? A. We are not just a summer company; we offer storage services all year round. We pick up and deliver 7 days a week 365 days a year yes even on holidays. Don t worry about planning your flights around us; we will cater to your schedule. Q. When do I schedule my delivery? A. Delivery is done in August. We will send an August 1 st letting you know delivery is available, and you can sign up when you know what works for you. Q. What are my delivery options? A. You have two options: 1. Standard free delivery to any of the on campus stations or off campus apartments. 2. Pre-arrival direct-to-room delivery: One week prior to your arrival we can place all your items in your dorm room, and they will be waiting for you when you get back to campus. There is a small fee for this service that will be listed on the delivery form in August. Q. I m leaving earlier or later than the main move out dates. What do I do? A. We pick up everyday from 7am-9pm. If you need to request a time that isn t listed as a pickup date, please call us at Q. I m storing with a friend that is leaving on another date. Can you do 2 pickups?

5 A. Yes, an extra pickup/delivery is possible for a $50 fee. Q. I m coming back early, before my friends. Can I just get my things? A. Yes, an extra pickup/delivery is possible for a $50 fee. Q. Can I come and pick up my things from the warehouse? A. Yes, please call or us 24 hours in advance to let us know so we have your things ready for you when you arrive. Packing Supplies: Q. How do I get supplies? A. We will have a variety of supplies available for sale at all our campus locations. We will be around all of May if you are leaving early and need them before the main move out dates. Q. Can I use my voucher? A. Yes, please present your Brown student ID. First Time Storage Tips: 1. Do not worry; we have been doing this for over 10 years. It s very easy and quick. Concentrate on your finals and leave the logistics to us. 2. The last 2 days (May 15 th -16 th ) are the busiest days. If you want to avoid the rush, arrive early or drop off your items one day before. 3. Storage dollies and moving help are offered on a first come first serve basis, we will have plenty of moving carts/dollies at all our stations. Also, we staff according to our demand with moving help. However, we can t forecast the weather or unexpected events. Make sure you give yourself ample time for your storage. 4.
