9 2009 full change in production strategy to clarify Romanian role as component factory sawmill was closed in january, sourcing policy was changed to start to buy elements from local sawmils Polarwood parquet production was stopped personnel was re-organized to match the needs of new situation full focus to produce only components (toplayers to Finland) old lines were took out and lamella line & second top press was installed start up of 3 S toplayer production with modern technology 1 S production with wet cut technology in use, only place in group was the first year to run 3 s toplayers production in full speed > result 1,3M m investment started to increase 1 S production and drying capacity of 3 - S 2011 production is further developed by moving unused second hand equipment from Finland, expected capacity in ,6 M m2 Labor work has been increased > lot of restacking work for deliveries to Russia, preparations of material for external kilns, capacity increase in production Karelia-Upofloor 21. syyskuuta
