4 1.2 CNPP The role of CNPP, expert in controlling and preventing risk, is to develop, distribute and assess safety and security knowledge and know-how, regarding people, property, intangible assets and the environment, for all activities covering all fields. CNPP s activities are organized around 7 axes : Understanding: trials, studies, standardisation Training: more than 290 trainings, over 57 qualifications can be obtained through ongoing training for managers, engineers, technicians and security workers. Qualification : qualifications professional Assessment: test laboratories, analysis laboratories, expert opinions, company audits, staff assessments Information: trade press ("Face au Risque", "L'Expert"), books, APSAD, CNPP and NFPA reference materials, DVD and videos, multimedia tools, day courses.
