13 FMM Academic Advisement One-on-one advisement is available with an FMM advisor during the day or evening hours. Call the FMM office or stop by B320 to set this up. You MUST remember to bring your DARS audit with you to any and all advisement meetings!

14 What is Common Hour? Time out for Club Meetings and Campus Activities: see Student Life in the Dubinsky Student Center, 7th floor. 15 Internships Location: Room B202 Related area elective (choice) After 1st year courses completed 3rd or 4th semester (or summer/winter) Builds networking and focus on career goals MUST attend one special internship orientation meeting the semester prior to internship semester Check the Internship Center website for orientation information and other guidelines:

16 GRADES Students MUST maintain a 2.0 GPA. Falling below 2.0 can result in academic dismissal. Students have up to 6 weeks to withdraw from a class---tuition penalties apply; notify Professor. Students have only ONE WEEK to add any additional classes. Grades of Incomplete are calculated as an F until completed.make up exams offered the following semester: Fee $25. If the make-up exam is not taken the following semester the IN grade becomes a permanent F grade and the course will need to be repeated.

17 Graduation Requirements FIT s graduation ceremony is held in May Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to receive a degree Students must complete 68.5 to 72 credits All FMM / FIT requirements must be met; no exceptions The Request to Graduate form must be completed ($30 bursar fee); this form is available online

18 Applying to Bachelor s Program An Application for Graduation must be submitted before access to the BS application is granted. BS Degree applications are available online. You must re-apply if interested. (There is a fee but no essay is required) MA 222 (Statistics) and EN 121 (English Composition) MUST BE COMPLETED before admission into the BS degree program can be considered. NO EXCEPTIONS!
